Keeping the Cycle Going

Ok... As of right now I guess you could say I have a mother, We have been taking cuttings off her. Our closet is divided into two parts, 24 light and 12/12. We are keeping the clones and bag seed in the 24 untill they are 12-18 inches tall. My question to you experts IS: Since we don't have enough room to keep the mother in constant veg, we will not have a mother after long, what should we do about obtaining new clones should we keep one clone everybatch and turn it into the new mother while its still young or... Basically I am just wondering how we are going to keep the cycle going

some pics would help....cause unless u dont have enough space to keep all the plants or u´re beeing to greedy buy wanting to take lots of clones at once, plus u dont need to veg the clones that tall as soon as u find the clones root structure is well formed u can flower them...Peace

Well right now we have two clones that are in good standings but are only about five inches tall, if the flower cycle is started today at five inches how tall will the end product end up being and what sort of yield would there be

That would really depend on the strain and conditions u have but i wouldnt flower until they are 8 - 10 inches, some strains double even triple the size during flower, the yield is also related to strain, genetics and conditions (light, temp, pot size, airflow, nutes etc...) so its really hard to say how much to expect....u can get less the an oz or a pound as far as i know...the key here is clone rotation i think, if u´re looking for a perpetual harvest what u need to do is to check the clones constantly for root development, as soon as they are rooted u can flower them, if u use a SoG method i´m sure u will yield a fair amount until ur next harvest wich should be 2 months right after ur last...so lets say u take 12 clones 2 - 3 weeks before these are harvested u should have another 12 ready to be veged this way even if u get an oz for every plant u´re looking at 12oz´s every 2 months wich is not bad at all....and remember if u run out of weed u didn´t plan it well...Peace and Pot

Clone the clones, forget about a mother plant. While the one set of clones are vegging the others can be flowering.
