KILLER CFL GrOw RoOm setup

i am going to have a 2x2x3 grow room setup with 12 23 watt cfl bulbs placed 3 inches from the foliage all around the plants. that will be a total of about about 16,000 lumens give or take? but i was going to plant 2 plants in soil using all organic nutrients techniques. veg for about 14 days maybe more?

yeah that sounds like plenty of light seems like you have it figured out

Then you're using rooted clones?
Seeds wont be mature enough to flower for at least 6weeks. By then they may be too tall for your box unless you top em a couple times.

I think the OP may be basing his grow on the "Buds For Less" grow - in that book the plants were switched to flowering at day 16 from seed ... and 8 zips of bud means the plants were ready and able to flower even though considerably less than 6 weeks old.

i have a space similar to that and im using 12 23w cfls... they get the job done quite nicely. check the link in my sig.

I'll have to check out that book. It's always been my understanding seeds wont flower till sexually mature, about 6-8 weeks. If you flip them earlier than that, they still wont start to flower till they reach sexual maturity. Does " buds for less" address this?
I'm popping a bunch of Bogbubble this week to find a new mother. I'll try this with one and see what happens.
Even after growing for 40 years I still believe anyone who thinks they know everything is an idiot.
