Info as requested on the f4-lots of purple pheno types and like the f3
very beautiful when growing-not so much when dry
like all of his killing fields it is more of a novelty as the smoke is very week and about a c- grade
now every one may snivel about this post but it is the truth and
any one that thinks this shit is good has never smoked good weed green purple it all sucks.-wish i had better news but you asked
This is the 1st time hearing anything negative about this strain. What reasonably priced strains that u prefer?

I wouldn't say it sucks, but if you compare it to cali genetics, it sucks. Sannies kf was one of the first strains I grew out when I started growing again. I was really disappointed when I tried some different genetics, I almost felt like I wasted my time. I keep growing it though because there is a green bubble gum pheno and a purple bubblegum pheno that I am trying to isolate and then cross into something else. Plus, there are some people that fall all over themselves for the purple. But yeah, kf does not even come close to the stuff we have access to out here, and I speak from experience because I've grown it out multiple times and in multiple grow mediums. If you want something that is close to cali genetics from sannie then get ko kush f4. I use that for brreeding stock, that shit is good. One more thing, if you're growing to sling bags, people are going to pass when they see your kf, unless of course swag is the normal where you are (not saying the kf is schwag, just saying it's only slightly better than schwag unless you get one of the good pheno's).
U posting these beautiful pics and saying the smoke sucks is mind boggling. What are these Cali genetics that trump this strain?

To me reasonably priced is not a huge factor since the biggest cost is in the grow so 40 or so bucks more is worth it.
If you are looking for a mother emerald triangle blueberry headband is great
The pheno types are all over the place though but you will find the decent yielding tasty Heavy fuel smelling one keep clones. the huge yielding straight blueberry smelling one is not medical grade in my opinion.
The bubba 76 is A grade smoke mine were lower yielding though.
I would recommend trying cabin fever seeds blu chem 4 or forest fire* Cheap
For sannies by far the best in my opinion is the anesthesia breeders choice.
Og raskal white master is stony as fuck there not cheap.
I have heard great things about pices genetics also but have not finished them out yet.
I find dutch genetics inferior in general to California lines.
If you want dutch I found serious seeds white russian better than sannies with the exception of the Anestesia which you should try.. serious is expensive

currently in veg White fire and a couple pices genetics strains
just chopped star dawg, blueberry headband, white master kush
currently in flower bubba 76 and anesthesia

Just about any cali strain trumps killing fields, someone in the thread rated it a c-, that's about right. I will say this about the killing fields though, I am running it right now searching for a pheno to make a cross with. There are a green pheno and a purple pheno that smell like pink bubblegum. Those pheno's are worth holding on to. My cross will only happen if I get the pheno I am looking for. Once that happens I am done with killing fields.

This is the purple bubblegum pheno, I never saved a cut of it but I did breed it back to a male kf f3. Those seeds are what I have going now.

so, aside from the fakey bullshit wannabe crowd, most people enjoy killing fields, and there isnt any comparison to the cali strains because nome of them offer the kind of clean high that kf does. it is probably the least stoney strain i've grown, offering a very racey and uplifting high with almost no body or mental fogginess at all. the only strains that i've had that have been similar have been much longer flowering hazes that are very tough to handle on a commercially viable level.

This is extremely accurate. The people criticizing the strain probably prefer couch lock indicas. My winning pheno could severely incapacitate you though in high doses... as mentioned before.

I could barely give the shit away even to my patients that like haze, cali mist, lamsbred, c99 etc
so you can take the fake bs wannabe shit someplace else kf is a lower grade strain period
and the bs about most people liking it is a joke.

I am running 2 KF F3.
1 started out turning purple (buds only , not leaves) around week 3 , but now seems to be loosing color in week 5. Any ideas why?
The 2nd is straight green at week 5 and smells pretty good.

KEEP THE GREEN ONE.
KF is a colorful strain, often with multiple colors on one plant, i have had ones that start purple and get more green calyxes in later flowering. There is the potential for green, blue, pink, and purple colors to appear in the buds. I'd just ride it out and see where it goes. What have your temps been like? Have your night temps recently gotten warmer?

Nite temps around 70.
I have 2 more beans to pop. Was looking for a "real" purple pheno , not one that turns from cold nights. Will warmer temps mess with the genetic color?

My KF purples without temperature influence. There are really purple phenos and ones much less so. Just keep the one you like smoking best IMO.
