Face rec/Face perception; is still has high margin or error.

MIT took, UK online system and fooled by simply stuffing your cheeks/nose with cotton, or simple latex add ons.

but its does not have to be perfect; its just has to narrow it down enough for you to be pulled aside and ID'ed.

there is also the problem of about 2-3% of the current population having enough points to be identified as you. basically there is people that look a lot like you, within the margin of error by weight/loss to pass as you.

the problem is this faux, reasonable science being brought to court and being admitted as proof simple because its, "scientifically reasonable" and the jury is so stupid to think they can weigh this because they saw a CSI show once.

also this technology is going to work both ways, we can use this same tech to ID police, or anyone with our phones in a few years. I'm betting there is going to be a null list longer then a CVS receipt on extra bucks day.

Police will simply salt the system so you won't get a clean return on any of their operatives. When you can write to the database, you can pretty much do anything.

It won't fool the chinese or russians, because they have their own data. But google? No problem.

They can be whomever they want on the internet. ;)

Let me guess...

You're here selling LED panels?
I don't know if "selling" is the right word. Endeavoring to sell, perhaps. Do LEDs make one stupid and susceptible to Infowars level news? Or is it a by-product of growing loose, undeveloped buds and having to convince yourself that they are good?
