Knife Hits!

My buddies came over last night and they brought some dank ass shit and they showed me how to do a knife hit. Its when you put two butter knives on the stove and heat them up, then take a little piece of weed and press it between the two knives causing it to smoke, meanwhile you suck it throgh a funnel/soda bottle cut in half. They said it gets you like 5x (They said 10X) higher than smoking a bowl. So i am testing it, thought you guys would like to also. Anyone ever heard of it?

what you have found is the princaple for the vaporizor. and its like one of the oldest forms of drug inhalation/smoking.

Yes. There is a design for a homebrew lightbulb vaporizer that is the same principle of "butane free" or "clean smoke" that gives you the full flavor of the weed captures more of the THC (vaporizers really get me toasted) and you dont suck in any lighter fluid (or smoke from fluid). Contrary to the instructions you can use a soft white bulb. Just fill it a quarter way with salt and shake it up gently for 5 minutes (the salt will remove the powder from the inside of the bulb) then rinse, sanitize, and sit OPEN until dry.

Try it once sober and only use it. Its a bit different but it gets you good and hard.

Okay this might be hard to explain but...after you cut the bottle in half, take the bottom (unused) half and poke some holes in it (near the bottom), fill it with ice and wedge it back inside the top half...now your hot knife smoke is smooth as can be

YES, hot knives is a good idea if you have the time. same concept as a vaporizor.

when you burn weed, you're only smoking up to 35% of the THC. the rest is destroyed by the flame. vaporizing smokes up to 95% of the THC. so, you're really around 3X as high.

In Canada the generation-x calls them "Blades", while my parents generation calls them "Hot Knives". They're quite common here. My work-mate is a big fan of smoking hash from blades, sometimes after work we'll drive the 30 minutes to his house to hit the blades instead of just smoking a bowl behind the restaurant where we work. His entire 'blade-kit' is stolen from our restaurant, too, haha, a big gas torch and a box of 20 steak knives.

knife hits are the shit. ive known about them for ever and they always make my head spin

all i do is plug the carb in my bubbeler or take the bowl out of my bong
break out snaps the individual size
heat up knifes till red hot than cool for 7 to 10 seconds
place hit 3/4 of the way down the knife the goal is to smoke only the sugar off the nug don't burn the hit it should be golden brown to brown hash/oil on the other hand the hotter the knife the better
save your burnt paddies/biscuits till you have a mason jar full then make some oil or butter
