Kruztys first medical grow.

Ok VV and dirtbag,here we's go.
Soaked 20 free leonord (g-13/butterscotch) beans on 1/13/09 and on the 15th had 13 that popped.Moved them to cups with soil and put them under 6 40watt 6500k tubes lights(cfl's)
Pre-soaked all cups the day before trans with just plain ph'ed water.I'll be using all foxfarm nute and soil for this grow ten switch to hempy buckets with the clones.Right now I'm just looking for mamas.I have 4 strrains I'm starting with.

Ok quick update,Checked the babys this mornin and 2 already popped out of the soil.Holy shit these f/l 's grow fast.I buried them about 1/4 inch last night and in 9hrs they popped up.They cracked in a day and a half,so come on you prettys.I'll add some pics tonight.

Ok couple pics of the new babys.watered each cup with 1 tbs today.and room temps at 75 degrees.

Ok,lots more babys popped up this mornin and all my soakin beans cracked so have to move them to the cups later today.soaked 5 each of chemo cindy,stinky cindy and widow cindy.All of them cracked in under 2 days.Cups are all per-soaked with ph water only and are ready for my new babys.I didn't water the f/l's due to soil still feels moist but checking every few hrs just incase the heater I add to the room drys them out.Room temp now a steady 73 degrees. The remote temp is great being it takes temps at the plants not the room.Pretty slick.

some mad names there, where did you get seeds from?

Not sure rightly where they where brewed at but was gifted these from a fellow member.Heres a couple updated pics.The shot on the right is the new batch that just popped up yesterday.thats the c/c,s/w,w/c..Still on 24 hr light and only watering as needed.No water last 2 days but will probaly give them some in the mornin.Cups are starting to get light.

Yep thats what I heard too.So far it's growin like mad.Just looked in on the kids and they now started there 3rd set of leafs.Looks like 3 of the 5 s/w didnt pop ground yet so hoping they didnt die.All the others,c/c, w/c are up and runnin.I hope the other 3 s/w's come up too but I really dont have the room.As long as I get 1 mamma off each strain then I'll be fine.I want to pick the best of the 4 to run with so we'll see which ones the best.So far the f/l's are kickin the others asses.But, they only be 5 days old.
Soil seems to still be moist so no water today either.Want to wait untill there pretty dry, then give them a good soaking.My foxfarm nute sheet says I should be feeding them 2 tbl per gallon of big bloom but I'm not gonna feed them for a week or so unless the plants start showing they need nutes.Right now they seem to be doing fine so we'll let them go.

I wouldnt think they need feeding for a few weeks yet, when you pot up there will be feed in the new soil, good strains need very little feed untill flowering.

Still no water,just plenty of light.Had 1 f/l that fell over(outside cup) so moved inside the set and proped it up with a little dirt.lights are about 1 to 1 1/2 inches from the plant tops and the others seem to be growing new leafs without streachin.All is well at the ol kruzty farm,all is well.

Alright!! (pulls up a chair) The first "Free Leonard" journal. I heard that stuff almost grows itself! I heard it gets a little swampy though... Damn they are growing quick almost like weeds! Aren't you supposed to have domes over them?

Hey dmoose glad to see ya made it.Mamma got sick so I couldn't make it to the meeting.Kid got the flu from school, then she pasted it to me and well ya know the story.Dam kids.
I ended up buying a moister meter for like 6 bucks and checked the cups.Dry and they felt pretty light so we gave them all a good soaking untill i got a touch of run off.They be all happy so far and growing like weeds.Looks like I lost 3 of the stinky widows being they haven't came up yet.Got 2 of them thats doing good so hopefully 1 is a girl or I'll be out 1 strain.
Nothen else to report at the kruzty ranch.Will be hanging my hps tommrow night and hooking up the rest of the venting.Only thing left I think is the mylar and the growin machine will be ready.
Oh almost forgot,,dome
I didn't put a dome on them cuz I didn't want to cut down any lums from those lights.Trying to keep these a short as possible so stuffin the light down there throat.The babys dont seem to mind so we're rollin with it.

Thanks cruzer.Dont know much about any of them.just that they're good.Looks like 3 of the stinkys never broke ground so I'm down ta 2 of that strain.Hope ta hell ones a girl.Both are doing fine and really taking off.I tried to find a ppm pen around here but no luck.Read that lowes, home depot/wally word would have them and nope. Looked at one at the hydro store while back but they wanted over a hundred for it.Hmmm.So at this point I'll have to add nutes by the ml or tsp.I plan on giving them a shot of foxfarm big bloom next week on there 2nd watering.Sheet calls for 2 tbl per gallon of water so will prolly hit them with a half dose and see what happens.Rather be under than fight nute burn or fry to little babys.
I also added more soil to the top of the cups to bury the stems more and help with support.They haven't streached much so it didn't take much.Will have to move the lights up in the next day or 2.They be almost touchin right now.
Besides that nothen new to report.Just watchin the grass grow at the kruzty ranch .
