Kushberry (OG Kush x Blueberry) Smoke Report

Two west coast strains (LA OG Kush x Oregon Blueberry) have joined together to make some mouthwatering herb..not to mention a high that compliments the taste and smell.



Excuse the dirty pipe, but I was smoking her before I wrote this then I decided to take a picture of some in a bowl..


Lets begin

Smell/Taste
During flower, my room smelled like a a skunk cemetery full of citrus trees with some fuel spilled on the ground. Yes, that exact smell..very beautiful.

After drying and curing, the smell still lingered, but transformed to a lemony-pinesol scent..with some skunkiness mixed in. When the jar opens it fills the entire room with this pleasant smell..and forget carrying this stuff in a bag..you must have it in a container!

The taste is similar and it lingers in your mouth for a while.

Smoke
Very good cerebral high with some body to accompany it. All you need is a couple of hits to get going in the morning..but if you want to take a nap, well, smoke a bit more and It'll knock you out. I harvested this pheno with mostly cloudy trichomes so that I could have a nice day time smoke...although it can be a great night time smoke.

It burns to nice white ash as well

Bag Appeal
Large calyxs and not that many pistils..looks so pretty that you don't want to smoke her! Buds are dense..but not too dense. An ounce of this stuff looks like more than an ounce.

Overall I give this a solid 9.5/10...highly recommended!

looks just like the kushberry im smoking right now . it has a medium yield . but WORTH IT. i cant tell you how fucking dank this shit is.
he hit the nail on the head it smells like fuel. on exhale you can taste gasoline on your exhale. fucking incredible high.
its all im smoking till better comes along.hes right about carrying the shit in a bag in your pocket or some shit..FORGET IT. aint going to happen without everyone within a hundred feet knowing you have it in your pocket. if you want the real good high and the smell gets really dank if you let it go just a little longer..WOW.head stash.
takes around 9 weeks. mine grows tall as hell though. deff needs super cropped. its easy to clone and very vigorous . very little veg time needed. if you put into bud at 6 inchs tall it will be over two feet when its done.the buds are very dense sativa buds so they dont lose alot of weight in drying .it is pretty easy to grow really, takes nutes well. STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN . when you trim it you will end up with huge amounts of resin on your fingers and the finger hash is FIRE.and you will have to really scrub down to get the resin off of yourself. your clothes will have to go into a plastic bag till you get them washed.ona gel is a must. air scrubbers and a ozone generator would be helpful.the resin of this plant is incredible .

Thanks for the info mine was little over 6 when i turned her to flowering so i was a little worried
but after reading your comments i feel better now and cant wait,if i get between 1 or 2 oz i will
be very happy cheers

Like max stated..it's dense sativa bud, but not a great yielder. I averaged about 1.5oz per plant under a 400w in 3gal soil...I vegged for 5 weeks. I grew three out, and I trained them all differently:

Earlier pheno, which was tied down at week 2 of flowering because she wouldnt stop stretching:


This is what she looked like dried:


Next plant:


She was harvested a week later..I FIM'd AND tied her down!



And finally, the last one, which was not topped or trained. Notice how there isnt much leaf and pistils..nothing but swollen calyxes...


The last two had the same pheno, just trained a bit different.

If there is anything different I would of done, well, I woulda tied them all down and topped early in their life, and vegged for a few more weeks just to increase the yield..but as max can probably agree, the yield doesn't matter on this one..the smoke is great..hell it has me rambling right now!

I'm going to make bubble hash outa the KB trimmings today...I'll post pictures/results!

I would LOVE to try this one out for myself.... I had a couple oz's of the la og recently, and that was some damn good smoke... smelled like toe cheese and kerosene, and damn sure didnt take much to do the job :)

Well my so called fem turned gaga on me 2 weeks into 12 12 so i guess i'll never know how this 1 tastes
pineapple express left but shes lookin gd gutted about the KB really sounds nice.

i think it tastes ok but it sucks got 3 pheno out 6pack fem from attude and the og#18 x skunk is the shit kushberry mush berry!moby dick kills it too just not like da #18!

for the people who say kushberry is so dank? must have some real BAMMER weed in your neck of the woods!wow! i ordered kushberry for all thye gud comments but wow! BULLSHIT i call it 51 fake out looks good smells good but BAMMER! og#18X sKUNK IS THE SHIT ALONG WITH MOBY DICK,2 SLEESTACKX SKUNK AND 1 LA CON X SKUNK COMING SOON CANT WAIT!

cool thats why we have things called opinions and clearly yours reflects negatively on kushberry....maybe you didnt grow it right? there is no way there are people all over buying and liking the strain....why else would it be sold out?

to clear that up my kushberry is only about 20 days into flowering and it bangs dude it smells amazing so I might have "bammer" weed around my area but I would take more kushberry for sure if I could

besides not being able to understand you fully you have a serious misunderstanding of how getting a "keeper" works some plants require a little work

my kushberry was dank as fuck..grown under cfls..my boy grew some clones frm my kushberry plants and his shit was wayyy more dank than mine, he grew under a 400w..

i yielded about a ounce per plant smh..he got damn near 2, i wish i had pix of them at the end of flower but they never made it all the way, i had to chop early due to an emergency move

well i guess it was the fem 6 pack i got from attitude? 4 out of six and got one left! like i said taste is ok but the high isnt for me! #18 x skunk is the shit make your eyes feel like somebody is pulling your eyes through your ears! like micky dees, i'm lovn it!

3 more weeks my og18 x skunk will be ready also have 2 kandy kush x skunk and 1 I lost the label to I think is sleestack x skunk. I will let ya know but out of the seeds attitude sent me only half of the 15 seeds were females. Cant argue for a freebie and 14 bucks for shipping. Definately gonna get my moneys worth . Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Sleeskunk 1601.jpgsleeskunk 1600.jpgI grew mine under a 600W Hps, in a cooltube, about 14" away (Generally). Used general organics, (didn't seem to want a LOT like my Blue Diesels) and I have 2 clones that I made seeds of (1 pure and the other crossed to sleeskunk - included pics).
Had struggles with humidity (90% +) and temps (90F +, 30C+), and pests (gnats, centipeds, etc etc). Subjected plants to Neem treatments etc. This plant faired extremely well under these circumstances, and no mold or fungus observed (Blue Diesel has a lot of bud infested - hash, lol)
I gotta say this is very tasty, nicely dense bud! I'll smoke about .8g in jays of this.
Much more "Tasty" than my Killing Kush's (not quite as strong though). Obvious Berry presence and not too spicey.
Def not a 1 hit wonder but worth a 2nd a 3rd run IMHO
Haven't smoked any of the other SkunkTrain strains yet. Sleeskunk is next.... ready in a few weeks, same with KandyKush.

NIce report but just so you know OG Kush doesn't originate in California or even the West Coast.
