This will be my second grow. Same setup this time, but a little more experience this time! I have another account here at RIU but since I'm a paranoid guy, I decided to start over from scratch.

I don't really know how to start this journal but here are the basics! :)

I'm going to start out with a 400w MH for veg, and then replace it with a HPS when it's time for flowering. Other than that, cooltube with inline fan, charcoal filter and a big silencer.

I always let the water sit for at least 24hrs and then check the pH with a digital meter and correct it with pH up/dn when needed. These are the nutritions and stuff I got: Supervit, Hesi TNT Complex, Hesi Bloom Complex and Hesi Phosphorus Plus.

And the seeds, the lovely seeds. Last time I grew C99 among others, and this was a really pleasant smoke. The seeds are probably of inferior quality, I had height issues in my last grow, two of them was <40 cm when I chopped them, and this was after about 6 wks of veg, and ~60 days flowering. I still chose to go with these again because I really loved the high, in fact everyone did.

I think Legends Ultimate Indica will be nice too, haven't smoked alot of indica lately, it's about time I figured.

The Skunk x Thai is a 100% random choice. I didn't know which strain to pick, I let destiny make the choice for me. As for now, I know nothing about this strain, if anyone knows how long they usually flower before finish, please chime in :-P

All seeds are regular seeds. I've planted four of each strain and plan on getting six ladies in total, hopefully two of each strain, we'll see about that....
They are planted in a mix of pretty hot soil (is it called hot when it contains alot of nutrients?), mixed with vermiculite and perlite.

Lessons learned from last grow... lets see.. it really sucked to transplant them, last time I started out in really small pots, I'm starting out with bigger ones from beginning this time. And this time i will do some pruning, I've read about the FIM technique, but haven't decided anything yet.

Today I'll post two pictures of the setup and one lame baby picture. I really don't think anyone care about those, but I had to post at least ONE! :)

Comments are highly appreciated, if you have advise for me I'm all eyes, I'm still a "noob"!

Small update, it's been about a week since they showed up in the soil. Haven't given them any water since I planted them but it's starting to feel dry, I'll just spray them a bit today and probably water them properly tomorrow.

And so day 11 have come, I've watered them once this far. Added Supervit and corrected the pH to about 6.5. It's starting to dry out pretty much again, I'll probably give them some water tomorrow. Hmm, last time I grew C99 they had height issues, as I mentioned in the first post. I don't have alot of experience but it seems the seeds are to blame, the cinderellas (center row) are slower than all the others. Well, whats there to do, I'll just see what happens.

I don't know what else there is to say, everything is working out as planned :)

Pic #2 = C99
Pic #3 = LUI (Ultimate Indica)
Pic #4 = Skunk x Thai

Day 18.

Some problems have come up, I don't really know what they are. I'll create another thread about it and see what the people say. Bottom leaves looks like in the picture and some of them are all dried out, if you touch them they turn to dust. Oh well. Wish me luck.

Day 21.

A sad day. I fucked up with the watering. This is what happens when you go to a friends house to smoke hash for two days. I didn't forget the plants, I just didn't think they were this thirsty. God knows if they will survive. It's just 21 days, I could re-do it all, but these were my last C99 seeds, and the plants did look pretty good for being so young. Well, we'll see what happens. This is what it looks like right now. Boo hoo.

The yellowing is a nutrient def. This watering was the first time I added halfstrength veg nutes (hesi).

Day 30.

Fucked up another watering so I, once again, thought they were all dead. But they survived, you gotta love this plant. One of the Skunk x Thai plants look weak, we'll see what happens with that one.

Haven't really checked any of them for sex yet. I'm currently not giving these plants enough love at all, but yo 2009 is coming and I will dedicate more time to them. They really need bigger pots, but as I've said I'm running out of space, I REAAAAAAALLY want to sex them before transplanting. Also, the humidifier died on me. I'll check it out later, maybe it's easy to fix but as of now it's pretty dry in there. I spray with a bottle when I find time as it is right now.

Another thing, two plants severely changed direction. I uploaded a picture so you can see what I mean. I don't know what to do about that, and I guess it all started when they got very very thirsty.

I did plan to top these plants but haven't really had the time and energy to do it. We'll see what happens, soon I must flip the switch to 12/12 or they will outgrow my cabinet.

Thanks for stopping by

Day 31.

So I decided to spend some quality time with the plants today. Ripped some dead leaf, sprayed them with water and tried to sex them. Removed one male (skunk x thai) and identified 3 females; two of them Ultimate Indica, and one C99.

I also found something weird on a stem however I'll create another thread about this since the response here is a little low

Here's a picture of the stem "problem" and also some male balls!

Happy new year everyone

Day 34.

I've spotted another female C99 today which leaves me to two C99 ladies and two Ultimate Indica females. Now all I'm waiting for is two female Skunk x Thai's to show up, and I'll be able to transplant them to bigger pots and then 12/12. It's looking pretty good in there but I think the small pots are restricting their heights. Now they get full on veg nutes. Some yellowing leaves on the bottom but maybe thats normal, I don't know.

Here are some pussy pictures.

I'm on day 43 now, still in veg. Just waiting and waiting for the skunkplants to show their sex. I'm starting to consider flippin over to 12/12 now and transplant after all of them have been sexed, dont know if they'll like getting transplanted during flowering though.

Day 46.

Transplanted four females to bigger pots today, there were roots everywhere and the pots were small. Two C99 and two LUI got bigger pots. The skunks havent showed their sex yet (I guess), but if I were to guess I have 3 male skunks and also 2 male LUI.

Tomorrow I start 12/12. Fiiiiiiiinally. This was a long veg period, too long. I believe some of these plants will outgrow my cabinet unless I string them down.

Here are the two LUI, just transplanted. Also a picture of some roots.

Alright, now they're all in there. 11 plants. 6 identified females.
Since the humidifier broke down and I took the fan away (for a while only), I had room for all the plants. It's a jungle.

This is where the fun begins if you ask me :)

Changed my mind, I'll wait with 12/12 for a couple of days. I just decided to try supercropping on 3 plants... lol
