So checked on the girls this morning. They looked pretty good. Tops pretty much all turned up again. I did some quick tucking before i left for work just to get some light to the new growth at the nodes. Ill take some pics when i get home.

So day 15 is in the books. First day after LST and the girls look real nice. I can already see second tops forming on a few of them. I will continue to tuck leaves every day for now. After the grow a bit i will LST more. So far so good. Enjoy the pics.

Temps today was 84 degrees F
Humidity at 56%

All G for now... cheewhoo!

I am hoping for 50+ grams, but I will be happy with anything over 28 out of La Musa. I realize La Musa and La Diva are different, but the same breeder and all makes me think of them as cousins. I hope you don't mind that I keep mentioning her in your thread 808killahz.

Happy Fathers day... Its day 17 and my plants are wonderful. Did some watering today with 1/8 strength nutes. Gonna be increasing to 1/4 next time. Temps have been good. 82 degrees F today. 59% humidity. pH at 6.0 so far so good.

I noticed some fan leaves starting to block the new growth again. Did a bit of tucking but ima have to LST a bit more later. Plants are looking real healthy tho.

Hey 808. I decided that I missed the boat on LSTing my La Musa. She is flowering and doing well. While tucking a big fan leaf, I accidentally popped it off. I read a very spirited debate on this very forum on that issue of trimming fan leaves and what I came away with was that about 50% of growers think that trimming fan leaves harms the yield and base that on the science of photosynthesis (Leaf capturing light, converting into sugar/energy for plant), while the other 50% think it has little effect on yield and some even argue that for indoor grows with not a lot of space, trimming fan leaves has increased yield due to light penetration and air circulation. While it was very educational, it was also one of the most ridiculous threads I ever read. Nobody on either side was listening to what the other side had to say...it was the message board equivalent of everyone trying to out-shout their some even posted links to grows that were highly successful trimming and those on the other side just ignored those posts like they were never made. Similar thing with those on the pro-trimming fan leaves side of the debate.

Anyway, I say all that because I am wondering aloud whether or not I should take off some lower branch growth to promote the plant focusing its energies elsewhere in the plant. With your standard photo-period plant, there is plenty of time to lollipop and trim lower growth to maximize the yield. With you LSTing it's probably not an issue for you but wondering if you have any thoughts.

Hey john... well on normal photo plants i usually will trim the lower third of the plant only if doing a sog or scrog. It promotes healthy full growth at the top and allows for better air flow at the bottom. If just growing one or two plants i would just lst or top. However in your case since you are growing an auto i wouldnt recomend trimming anything. Autos are sensitive and you dont want to stress your plant more than it needs. If you accidently broke a fan leaf dont worry about it too much. I would just leave it be. Just continue to tuck them leaves.

Alright guys... so some bad news. While adjusting one side of my light the rachet didnt engage and the light dropped down and damaged one plant at the end. It completely severed the top off right above the second node. Im hoping the plant will react as if i had topped it and shoot up 4 tops. Hopefully my girl isnt too stress out. Only time will tell.

Other than that they are all doin well. Im still upset over that one but we will see how she reacts.
