Landlord found my Kush!

I have a beautiful Kush plant growing in my backyard in a plastic container. I mean it is awesome with probably 4-6 weeks to go? The hairs went from all white to partly red and white. I am told the hairs will become completely red and then white again. Regardless - my landlord found it and told me it needs to go! He was cool about it but I absolutely need to ditch it.

I'm searching for a new home but can't find one. Does anyone have experience with an early harvest? I JUST poured in the nutes so should I begin flushing it now and just harvest it? I attached pictures but my camera kind of stinks. So bummed, please advise!:wall:

Peace

That's a gorgeous plant!!!! Can you take it inside and tell your landlord you got rid of it? Just don't let him/her enter your dwelling.

I sure wouldn't want to harvest that beauty early ;)

damn.. she is looking awesome. she still has some time, dont htink you can speed it up. does the landlord randomly come by or do they tell you when? if you knew, you could take it into your room andturn all the lights on. what about putting it on your roof, maybe behind a chimney if you have it.

Now that is a beauty, and I would hate to chop her early. I would suggest finding a place outside somewhere near home that is secluded and has minimal traffic. I mean it is just for a few more weeks. Some of the ideas above are good possibilities as well. At any rate, good luck with that foxy lady you have there. Peace.

Good ideas but unfortunately none of the above will work. My rental situation is very casual, there's no paperwork it's just a handshake. The landlord just began coming by regularly, unannounced, with inspectors, etc as they have plans for development.

My only option is a friends balcony where it will receive sun until approximately 2pm. Either that or snip it and harvest early. Whatta shame :!:

dude, balcony, no contest. It will slow development but it will still continue to grow. With the sun being off it so early in the day it will likely mature faster through the following weeks as a result of it. Dont hack it, it would be a shame...

dude anywhere you could put her to let her finish is in your best interest.the only way you could speed up harvest is to shorten the period of uninterupted darkness.if you did it today though you would still need about a week or two to wash out the nutes...good luck...what a bummer...

Thanks fender6string, that's what I needed to know. I'll provide an update when I find her a home!

Right on Easy P I appreciate it. I read up on flushing in detail with the October edition of High Times. OK I'm feeling a little better

We all feel your pain!! They are some good looking plants..Do what you can to find a spot, If you can't find a spot then what should you do? Just smoke it and move on with life...If you have no options there is no sense in getting worked up abut it..Right?

justgrowit,

As all have stated, I'm sorry your in this predicament. First of all you mentioned that your landlord didn't freak out, secondy the property is having inspections. What is more than likely going on is since your Non-contractual agreement with this person has no legal validation placing you as the renter, if one of these inspectors or contractors found and reported this plant your landlord would be going to jail right along with you, and possibly facing the loss of property. Therefore, although ethically he feels the plant is no big deal, legally it is his responsibility to worry about it.

Now as for your situation of what to do.... Easy P was incorrect in stating that a shortened light cycle will mature it faster.. Simply said, If that was the case everyone on this site would cut flowertime. You seem sincere that you have no other alternative besides A) harvesting early= reduced THC content; B) bringing it to your friends porch.

Option B is a bad one for multiple reasons. Mainly because what is to stop your friend from tampering with your plant (either harvesting parts or all, or attempting to feed it and other stuff), secondly because then your friend runs the risk of being put in the same situation. Also, not to sound like a dick, but if your friend knows already, then more reason your landlord should worry for that is one more person to possibly report to the cops if your relationship were to sour. (Big cause of people getting busted!)

Your only true option is to bite the bullet, flush, and harvest. With your landlord being cool about it (he could have called the police), you owe it to him/her to get rid of the plant as soon as possible. Also I wouldn't risk jeopardizing their trust. Either way the decision is ultimately yours. Keep us informed, and good luck! :peace:

Thanks for the logical breakdown and thank you everyone for your advice. I have chosen the porch largely because A) it is a best friend who could have stolen it over the past 2 months and there is no question of trust. B) I will be providing him with thorough instructions. There is no chance at theft over there as well. Unlike many who "think" they can trust a friend, with this guy I am 100%. He will receive 1/2 there is no other way around it. But like you said I need to respect the concerns of the property owner and get rid of it. Flushing would take two weeks and that's a little long. Thanks again everyone and I suppose I always was running this risk. It's been fun - next time it will be indoors. I can't wait for competitors to build upon the technology of the Procyon 100 to create more powerful and possibly less expensive LED solutions. As of now the Procyon 100 runs $600 for 400 Watts of power (not enough really). When 600W and 1000W alternatives are available then we can all enjoy (approximately) 90% less heat and 70% less energy required. I simply can't have the obvious drain on electricity, the loud hum of a Vortex fan - maybe in a year I'll grow again.

PEACE and thanks again.

I sure considered it - thanks for the post.

In Florida it is a felony to grow 1 plant. Something I really hate. Hopefully Obama will be able to decriminalize.
