Laserbrn ~ (DP White Widow) + (Green Crack x Romulan) + (BB Blue Cheese)

I'm actually sitting here laid up in the hospital (again) as I was when this grow started and I'm bored to tears so I'm running through my old grows right now.

Interesting to see the difference between starting in a closet with a 250w HPS light and what I've got going on now. Soon this grow will be bigger and I'll expand it a little.

My problem is that I have a 6 figure income and don't need to or desire to slang weed. So while I want to improve at this hobby and I want to always grow bigger and better I don't have a reason or anything to do with the bud.

sorry to hear bout the hospital thing .... hope all turns out ok for u, in terms of doing all this, yea, same boat here .... my main reason to have pursued growing in the first place is I'm not going to risk my health or prof. career on either buying or selling anything from to anyone. my one and only friend that knows I grow/smoke asked me the other day he says whaddya gonnna do with it all ..... I really don't know yet .... but maybe take a stroll and hand out baggies to the homeless ... but that's exactly why I only grow max three-four plants at a time and only once or twice a year if that .... that's really why I wanna get carded to do the medicinal caregiver thing .... I would really enjoy that.

I would love to give away my goods to those that need it too. I do smoke quite a bit generally, but I'm expecting my current setup to give me about 6-7 oz's every 8-10 weeks which is wayyy moer than I need.

I'll start by stocking it up I guess and I'll try unloading it on some dispensaries locally. They don't generally want "White Widow" around here anymore. It's considered to be the old shit and not as good as the other shit roaming around here.

I have in the past always grown from dispensary clones and I have to say that these plants are far more impressive genetics than I've been able to find around. I've always suspected that the vendors that supply clones don't let their best genetics out that freely. I've always seen the same looking pheno's and they've always seemed a bit weak sauce to me.

I'm glad I went this route and decided to grow some beans myself. I'm sure I'll get some cuts of some good shit someday, but for now this will definitely keep me happy.

If it is grown out to be super resinous, stinky, and bomb, just like anything else, go ahead and give it your own name, like

Laser Widow.

That's what I was thinking anyway. I think most of the strains we're seeing around here are so full of bullshit you can't tell one from another. One place has "Super OG" and the other has "Fire OG" and "Platinum OG" and then all of a sudden they all have them and they don't look the same, it's all just ridiculously bastardized without any kind of controls.

From the looks of this bud it's going to be the danky dank anyway.

Gotta start somewhere. I've always grown in apartments. That's where this whole setup is. Rent actually went down in my area and I was able to get an extra bedroom for $50/mo more than I was paying. Had to jump on that and expand.

the ebb and flo of the current circumstances .. the world she's a changing, your rents go down, you expand, your situation is a little better .... when for some its pretty tough ... what a world we have made ... ?? what's it all gonna look like in another 12-24 months ....or ten yeaays for that matter ... most interesting of times!

Well I live in the land of disgustingly high rent anyway. The rents only went down because nobody can afford to live here anymore!

Hah, I also live in the land of million dollar+ homes. Not buying was the best thing I've done so I'm waiting it out a little longer. I was SOOO close to jumping in and I woulda lost my ass with the rest of 'em.

hahahaha .... we got WAY too many things the same3 brother ... I be waiting too .... but not in the milliondollar district ....I am looking for my piece outside the city like I have 5 years ago .... and prices of rural properties are equally getting hit, and the big pieces to. 160 ac can be had again for $500k if you wanna wait and negotiate .... people are having to dump assets ....and its only getting worse in the next bit ... or at least that's still my take for now .... someone referenced the latest meltdown from 2007 highs as an event that is 21 S.D away from the norm .... by some measure, infinite or extremely rare. The Black Swan events .... how much do we really understand them? lots to keep the mind in sixth gear! hahahaha!

dude ive been reading ur thread sorry i havent complimented on ur ladies till now but dude nice work lookin great i think u should check out the cool cab on sunlightsheds.com and 1 more thing there is this stuff by humbolt county's own nute company called like snow or extra snow u should really check it out it does nothing but pack on crystalage and u can use it untill the day of harvest its very good shit indeed thats all for now good luck

I might look into that, but I've never been a believer that there's miracle nutes out there that will magically increase resin production. I tend to lead towards healthy happy growing and good genetics for that. I have ready promising information about the use of UVB lighting to increase resin production, but I haven't found and REAL information to support an increase in resin production based upon the nutrients or suppliments fed to the plants. Sorry, but hat's 95% hype.

I so use AN's nutrient line so I obviously buy some of the hype. Mostly I use them becasue I always have and I don't want to learn the nuances of changing them.

Yeah. It's an amazing opportunity to market a product. People SO Despearately want their plants bigger and more resinous that you can sell them just about anything. I was in the hydro store just the other day picking up some rockwool and there was a group of 4 kids in there and of course they are in there asking "What can we use to make the plants more frosty"?. How easy of a sale are you? I laughed a little inside when I heard all the suggestions of products to purchase.

Anyway...I digress....

While I was in the hospital a hose pulled out of the pump (had my girlfriend help and she moved the reservoir while filling it an dit pulled the hose out and she didn't notice. I don't blame her though, I could've used a stronger fitting and she did what she could muscling a 5 gallon jug and she was trying to move it to make it easier. Either way they ended up going 4 days without water and they were very unhealthy when I got home so I just killed them off.

I started up the new clones and my flowering plants have a solid 3-4 weeks left so they have plenty of time to grow and get ready to do their job in flowering.

I have spent so much effort avoiding nute burn on this grow (the flowering plants) but they are burned a little because the water level in that room got low and the ppm skyrocketed while I was out of commission. They will survive and be fine, I just hate the ugly pics with the nute burned leaves.

These are the plants that are in flower. They are now 5 weeks in. As I mentioned earlier, got a little nute burn while I was hosptalized, but really I have no complaints. I got out and the plants are alive and well so that's all I can really ask for.

Thanks....I'm not sweating the losses. They were a bit unruly anyway for needing to veg another 3-4 weeks while I wait for the flower tent to be available. The timing on these offspring should be much more ideal.

Snapped some pictures tonight. I felt it was about time. The last batch of pics I took didn't seem to do the girls justice.

So now we are just over 5 weeks into flowering. I would say that this is day 37.
