I think I have everything good to go, but I am just making sure.

Ordering from cobkits.com

MeanWell HLG-185H-C1400B Driver (Constant Current)
Just to clear up my confusion, this driver since it runs at 1400 amp, that is half what the Citizen max amp, meaning it will run at 50w correct (the target efficiency), if I dim it (with a potentiometer), it will go under 50w?

Citizen CLU048-1212 80CRI GEN6 x4 with 120 mm Passive Pin-fin heatsink (for CLU048/CXM22/Vero 29)
120m good enough or get the 133 mm?

This is what my cart looks like, cart.png

cobkit, was out of plastic reflectors though, the only think left for my to buy it the the angled aluminum for the frames.

For only $10 more to upgrade to the 133mm heatsinks, I think its a good idea.

I am buying the 3500k ones too.
The 1212 90cri he only has 2 left, but whats the difference 80 vs 90 (3500k on the 90 is green I noticed)

EDIT: Anyone know where I can get a BJB Holder?

well yes but dont think of it as 50%, all of those ratings are nominal. you can push a 1212 past 3A with good cooling

but yes youre on the right track, 1050-1400 seems to be where its at for best utility of most cobs

i also like paste personally. people like the pads but paste is my jam. im also dangerously close to the end of my pad inventory and might run out for a day or two

def grab a pair of 2 pole wagos. i dont stock primary wire for series installs yet but you can grab that t-stat wire and strip it.
ill have pots onsite when they come in i bought 100

120 or 133 will work fine at 50W

I bought 2 100k Ohm potentiometer with Wattage rating of 0.25w and 0.5w will each effect the range of dim?

Also, if you didnt order yet, get those 90 CRI, they are proving to be better than the 80 CRI's.

I cant link you to threads right now, kinda busy, but look around here and ul see that 90 is whats recommended.

I just received everything today.

I heard that the 90 CRI look more like real sun light but I also heard that they are little less on the output.

Also I picked up some 100k Ohm potentiometer for dimming, but does the Wattage rating of 0.25w and 0.5wmean on them if anything for dimming?
