Late Plants

Hi I grow in the northeast and my plants are just now starting to develop little buds - they seem to about 3/4 wks late.
Anyone else finding this? When can I expect them to finish, or will they end up as underdeveloped?

must be sativas. they sometimes take longer to flower than indicas. If they conditions are right, you should be ok. are they in the ground, pots?

depends on strain but most likely mid october. you should be roughly end of week 2, start of 3 at this time

Well, they are in the ground and in very good soil.
Funny thing is that I picked these strains cuz they were advertised as being early finishers.....
Northern lite and purple diesel.
Last year I was toking about this time, this year (last week) I found 4 males - waaaay late in the game for that!

Concerned over the lateness cuz it has already been in the 30's here, and of course, those damn helicopters will have more chance to find them.

Ya man probably sativa, even indica can flower late, the girls have a mind of theyre own they do what they want haha, It all depends on her genes.....

We all know as growers how tempermental they can get

im northern cali, only on day 5 of flowering...i got one in the ground and a smaller one in a 5gal pot. the one in the pot ill take in my greenhouse if i have to, but im hoping my baby in the ground wont run into rain/frost.

Yeah, I'm a little behind too. Been flowering for about 2 weeks. They're supposed to be an Indica (Bubba Kush) so I'm a little confused. But the late flowering gave me a couple extra weeks of veg so I'm hoping that will mean a bigger yield...

i was thinking the same thing, more veg=more weed (if they finish in time)

Each time you grow from seed, there's going to be a new "diceroll" as to what traits you get. Just because it's supposed to be Indica dom, doesn't mean you're always going to get super fast flowers. That's why many people grow them out and choose a mom that best suits their grow style.
