Hey Rollitup,

Was hoping to get some advice on whether or not this baby is ready to flower. Got some pictures of course.
This plant is about 10 inches and really bushy. What you guys think? Thanks!

I know its probably hard to estimate but would it give me a good amount of yield if everything went well and i flowered now or would holding off a week or two be a good idea as far as that goes? I may have the room for it. Any additional info is appreciated thank you!!

I don't think a week would really make a HUGE difference in size, but anything after that would. I would go for it man.

So your sayin' let it grow for a few more weeks basically? Or go ahead and flower because it won't make a big difference?

I just put my baby in flower today! Shes a foot and 2 (14 inches) I'd flower...

Cause you gotta remember shes gonna double mabe even triple in flower. If you want a HUG plant go for its gonna take a long time.

Plus you gotta remember for CFLS flowering is usually closer to 10 weeks not the HID 8

6hate0core7 - not trying to be a dick, but those buds in your advatar pic needed way moe time. I ,made the same mistake. You woulda had easily double the THC. Gotta wait till ATLEAST half the hairs turn amber...really should wait for like 80%

Alright, thanks man. Yeah I just don't know I feel like I got the time and the space. This my first grow so I don't really know what size I'm looking for. I think I may hold off a week or two just because my setup is pretty nice and shes loving it under the CFL it seems to me.

Edit: It's a white widow/ big bud strain from attitude. If that changes anything. Anyone an opinion on specifically whether or not a week or two weeks more would increase yields by a significant amount?

I had to harvest this year. With the rain that NY had last summer my plant got toppled over by water weight. I grow outside in the summertime where there are elements! Suck it. haha

if space isnt an issue i would go another week but just so you know how big these things get during the first two weeks of flowering ive included pics from my cfl grow

Right before i switched to 12/12
they were on 18/6

Two weeks into 12/12

so as you can see they will really get bigger once you make that switch

Yeah, I just heard this strain can get up to about 3 ounces a plant and thats my goal. Probably sounds insane but I don't know. Thanks for info. I actually have some flowering right now, its bagseed stuff though. They are about 25-27 inches 2 weeks into flowering :D. I think I waited too long for them, though, I will admit.

you could try topping it in these final times or so, its a legitimate technique that should leave you happy with the outcome.

I would cut the top off her, bend her over and give her 2 more weeks, you will double your yield.

Look at topping her, lots of topics here on doing that. Its the process of cutting off the top tip of your plant which forces it to grow 2 shoots that become the main colas.
Look at LST(low stress training), again lots of topics here discussing that. Its the process of tying/bending down the top of the plant to expose the inner growth shoots to more light.

If done properly you could have 10 growth shoots at the same height instead of one.

I dont have much time right now, but if you have any further questions let me know i will check back in.
