Germinated on May 1st and only in the first week of flowering as of today 9/17, this Sharksbreath has vegged out at 6 1/2 feet and It would take 3 people holding hands to make a circle around it, it's bushed out a bit in the last few weeks and just started to flower, I guess she's just a late bloomer, that's what has got me worried.
Harvesting time should be at the latest Halloween or Nov 7 I believe, we'll see, I'm really concerned about weather and would like it if some of you veterans could reassure me on my climate:
Here are the averages for October 2007 in my area (Northern Italy)
(Average Temp) 57 F° (Average Low) 48 F° (Average High) 67 F°
69% Humidity and 9 days of rain! Lows could reach the 40 F° or 38 F° mark... But no freezing likely.
Could be a freak frost but I can cover if needed, it shouldn't frost till around Nov 7/10 or so... I am near a large lake so it stays a little warmer than the outlying areas. There are many palm trees in this area that grow no problem and I'm keeping an eye on the local vegetation as an indicator, this bitch is pretty hardy, she's already endured a lot of crappy weather, I should be fine but I'm just curious to get everybody's feedback on later harvests and how you think I may fare out, the plant is super healthy, I had to tie her about 2/3 of the way up as she was leaning to the SouthWest after the last rain, an average of 69% humidity is not the greatest, I'm really counting on mother nature here, she's 80% Indica but I guess that 20% Sativa has made her into a stubborn flowerer! Comments and experiences on late maturation and weather conditions are appreciated in advance!!!!
I'm keeping an eye on Balihai's post of the Sweet Purple (Lower Michigan) he's way ahead of me and has colder weather so I'm trying to use that grow as a guide...
