Latest and greatest LEDs???

I'm needing something to run an area with 4-6 autos...in veg room...suggestions?

$1,200 for 720 watts = too expensive.
You can get a HLG 240w + 2QBs for $150 x3 = $450

So the Agromax is 3x too expensive by my book.
Probably OK if you want to make a fashion statement.

Bit suspicious of the wattage claims, they say 720w, but only claim a 240w driver (Driver Model: Mean Well XLG-240).
There's a chance the wattage claim is bogus ..... in which case 10x overpriced

Sold everywhere near me B1,000 = $30).

Yeah but sarah the shipping is more expensive than the boards these days. Takes the value out of it.
Plus that agromax is going to pass all safety tests and certificates ect.
A warranty that's worth something.

For a plug and play its a good price and looks like a good unit.
You have to compare apples to apples.

14x14 essentially mostly full of t-5 leds for veg but I wanna grow 4-6 autos in same room, currently have an hlg 550 but I'm moving that to flower room

Then I would imagine running longer hours for the autos you could cover over 5x5 by having it a bit higher.
Its only like 3x3 ft dimensions.

I was looking at chilled growcraft the other day, might be worth looking at those too.

Looks nice, I hear good things about NEXT light MEGA and the Gavita LED as well. I wish I woulda snagged a couple more HLG550s when they were $721

I thought high end used LEDS would pop up on market but never see them

For that price you can get a better fixture.


I've seen multiple rooms with 30-70 of these lights in person and they are doing well with them.

There are a few other fixture a bit cheaper and I hear good things about them but never seen them in person, just lots of photos on ig.

Scynce led seems to work great and more for the tunable spectrum crowd

Also curious on these as I can get a deal on them for like 850 a fixture.

Disclaimer I don't run led I'm just watching tech waiting for the time I can afford to try them out again and take the risk of spending that much and not liking them. I do think if you have more space than amps they are worth it, but otherwise I'm still thinking you yield more per sq ft with de hps. And I'm also not convinced if I was gonna run a low watts per sq ft garden that I'd choose led I might just use cmh but only because it's proven tech for me, I love growing under cmh.

That said if I hit the lottery id prob load a room full of those scynce LEDs or maybe try a room of each of the ones I linked, I'd love to try them just can't wrap my head around the cost to light a room with them when most of them are for a 4x4 coverage. That's roughly 15,000 dollars to light a room that's 12x20.

It's also my understanding that the exposed led chip lights like the QB degrade in garden conditions way faster than claimed by manufacturers. Another reason I like the scynce fixtures. They are water proof and very sturdy check out there ig page.
