Leaf Diagnosis Problem?

Thread is closed!

I have been having a leaf problem for the last 2 weeks or so. It first started as just the edges would curl up and the leaf would be a little yellow. Next the leaf started to turn pale and lose color and is now starting to turn over and distort. this is has only happened on the bottom leaves but the next node fan leaves are starting to curl up to is it a light, nute, pH, or over/under watering problem. I have looked through the main threads and the only thing close was heat burn.

The plant is and indoor cfl grow.
I water on every 2nd to 3rd day.
It's a soil grow of jiffy potting soil.
For nutes I'm using 20-20-20 NPK at 1/4 strength. and Superthrive at full strength.
The plant is in it's 4-week of Veg.
Temp is at 75-82F and Hum is around 60%.
CFL's are 3x60w 6500K.
Reflective material is Alum. Foil with Teflon coating.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe the foil is creating some hotspots on the plant but it was only the 2 leaves until 2 days ago when the next nodes fan leaves started to cup.

it could be too early for that nutrient diet your feeding her. id cut both nute solutions down to 1/8 dose and play it easy with those nutes.

plant looks nice and bushy, minor leaf problems aside

also that plant should be in a 1 gallon pot at the least and not that lunch meat container you've got also its clear dont youse clear pots roots are not supposed to get light they don't like it. so transplant into a 1-3 gallon pot that has drain holes and is not clear and cut back the nutes for the next two weeks you should only feed every other time anyway.

it also could be nute lock out causing cal/mag deficiency amend to soil with some compost if you have any compost has micro biotic organisms that break down nutrients and allow them to be absorbed easier

i think its a Mg def
epsom salts will cure this
check ur nutes and see if they have micro nutrients
Exactly right. The leaf flipping over is the give away. Epsoms salts will work fine. 1/4 tspn per gallon of water. Also dolomite lime mixed with you soil you will be transplanting into will keep you from having this issue in the future. I am not sure what your medium is but a tbl per gallon of soil is a good place to start.
My bad. See your soil type and feed schedule. No its not 5-5-5 at 1/4 dose. Still 20-20-20. The math does not work out that way with nutes dude, sorry. And I bet the jiffy is acidic, causing just this problem. Try the above, bet it will help.
