Leafs Dieing At The Tips

My new babies are starting to die at the very tips of the center leaf. Also some plants are showing a spot or two where it starts to lose color then blackens. When looking at the spots before they blacken it also looks like a sticky substance on the leaf. You can look at an angel and see a shine coming off where the spot is starting.

Also the tips of my leafs are turning down. Maybe about a half inch of the tip is curled down with some of them starting to slowing blacken.

The overall color of my plants look decent.

I just ordered my ph and tds/temp meters so I wont get those for a week or two.

Is this due to lack of nitrogen?

Thanks,
Mike

Im using Botonicare ProGrow And Sweet right now. I just put them on 12/12 on Friday. I would put pics up but my digital camera sucks I guess. When I try to zoom in on a leaf its all blurry.

I noticed some initial nutrient burn when I first put them in my system. That was about 2 weeks ago. Like I said I saw some initial burn within the first day or two. After 3 or 4 days it seemed to stop. New leaf sets were growing, then when the new leafs get about 2-3 inches in length the tips start to discolor then ove rabout 3-4 days about a 1/4 inch of the tip is a dark brownish. But so far it seems like no more than 1/4 to 3/8 inch of the tip is burnt. It hasnt continued down the leaf anymore as of yet.

For my nutrient mix I'm using what is recomended on the bottle. Is that generaly too much for Botonicare products?

Well after reading through some stuff I think I have narrowed my problem down to a couple choices.

Ph lock, calcium def, or nut burn. Think it might be the ph lock. I only have the paper testers and their not very acurate. It gives me a reading between 7 and 8. Also the light green spotting on a couple of leaves gives me an idea its the ph.

Calcium def from the dark spotting on the leaves.

Or nut burn because Im a noob grower and over feed them.

Last night I flushed all the tubs and put in tap water. They needed new water and just figured maybe this would help with the possible nut burn untill I get my meters in a few days.

Let me know if anything can figure it out before I can.

Thanks
