Hello,

Would anyone know what is causing the discoloration in the leaves of this pineapple express auto?

System - Hydroponic DWC
Lights - Duolux 600 LED
Indoor
Temps - 75 to 83degrees Fahrenheit
Humidity - 40-50%
No ventilation yet - only fans
No CO2 (closet grow)
General Hydroponic nutrients (minimally at this point)

So, that discoloration in my original post became this:

Then this:

And finally this (early harvest):

I hope the pictures help to answer your question. Total increase in electric bill for 20 hours on and 4 hours off because they are auto flowers (including all fans, pumps, etc) was around $40 with Vegetation only and $60-$80 with Bloom and Vegetation light running together.

Nice man! Looks great. What was your dry weight? GPW?

Im stuck between getting a few lights and have seen a couple different grows on here with the DIY COBs but I feel like I would love the pre assembled panels.

Did you have any issues with the light? Worth the 1k investment?

Also have you seen this? http://www.geyapex.com/solo-600-led-grow-light appears to be the same light.

This was my first grow and I had to harvest early due to unforeseen conditions so it's not the best judge. Dry weight unknown, still trying to cure despite early harvest.

There were no issues with this light, not one. It ran 20 hours on and 4 hours off for three months without issue.

The light does the job. You can drive yourself crazy looking at all the various lights but here is why I chose this one:

- Proven results with various example grows online.

- I knew it would be enough of a light in case I want to increase the number of plants. I only grew two.

- Safety due to low heat and low electricity bills.

Since buying this light, I thought about why I didn't go with platinum LED or kind LED but when I compare those costs, it al adds up to about $1,000 for a great LED (much cheaper with HPS but again fire safety and heat was important for my conditions.)

When you put everything together, the cost is the same for whichever LED light you get (at least in the LED world). If you want to save some money, you could purchase two Mars Hydros since they work too (based on grows online) but I wanted to keep it simple with one light.

Search a grow by CaliGreen on YouTube with this light. That's why I purchased it.

This will do the job, so will many others. It depends on what you want but I can tell you these LED (top shelf) penetrate the lower canopy.

If you have the ability to do it yourself, it may be cheaper in the long run but I didn't want to take any chances with electrical work.

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
