well all was going good until 2 days ago. woke up and 12 day old plant was drooping badly, just about wilted, from lack of water. leaves were burnt some. i watered and it perked back up. now the first true leaves that are on the bottom and the biggest are bending upwards, about a 90º angle. temps are around 82-83 degrees. i've adjusted cfl' from 4in to 2 in and back. not sure whats up. i'll have pics up tonight grow journal. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. thnx

impossible to diagnose given the original post and no picture. Throw up a pic and you'll get an answer.

you gotta fill us in with more info. you wanna make it easy for people to help you.

what kind of soil did you use?
do you have somewhere for excess water to go? (Holes in the bottom of the pot)
have you ever fertilized?
etc.

hey poutineeh,i've been putting all info and pics in my grow journal. the soil is scott's potting soil. there are holes in my pots and drains very well. as for nutes just the prenuted soil which i don't like but is what i had. the npk is .07.01.03 i believe. trying to water as minimal as possible.

im just saying, i dont expect people to sift through my journal to help me out. its so much easier for you to type a few words than us spend 10 minutes searching.

personally, i would let it grow out some more. there may be too much nutes, but you cant do much about it. if it doesnt improve in 4 or 5 days, try running a decent amount of water through it to get out the nutrients...

im no expert, so take what i say with a grain of salt. just going based off of common sense and keeping it simple.

Too much heat and fan. These are clear signals of plant stress, trying to "cool down"...
Treatment:
- Epson salts with water - regular nutes diet (as it was planned)
- Reduce heat
- Reduce wind

Plant is sweting, bending upwards mean it's showing off her stomata to feed straight from the leaf.
Check also vase temperature. This also happens when the roots are developing some problem - and the plant is thriving for survival.

MJ is a strong plant, it will try a lot of mechanisms before giving up.

DON'T OVERWATER OR OVERNUTE the plant now. This is our first reaction to any problem generaly.
These plants are very well adapted and will survive if you give them just enough.
Try to water them with plain water (maybe PH regulated - epson salts) - around 300-500 ml per day.

Cheers!
