leaves doing random things, any tips?

This is my 2nd grow, first was a few years ago and was pretty successful.

Things this round are going pretty well but am now having a few small issues and am hoping for advice.

As you can see by the pics the leaf tips are a bit burned and some leaves are pointing down and some are curling. However some of the little tips along the sides of each leaf are turned up. I tried to get a nice close shot of that one in hopes that someone can tell me what that means. Anyone know what those points are called?

After they got over fertilized and burned a bit I did a mini-flush, and it seemed to keep it from getting any worse. These pics are from a few days ago. Now, two days later, she is totally dry again and I watered using about 2/3 strength nutes. Leaves still look the same: some funky in one way, some funky in another, and some totally normal.

growing in black gold potting soil, started from seed. Yes, this is all one big plant. :)

Today after watering the runoff was:

pH 5.8
ppm 1500 (this is the first time I've used the meter, other than calibrating it)
I'm using Pure Blend Pro bloom which is 1.5-4-5

She spent too much time vegging and is now really really big. I had to top her and tie down all the branches about a week into flowering because she was way too tall. Only options were let her burn or give her a little stress. Other than slowing down a bit she didn't mind much at all. I think I'm about 38 days into flowering.

I don't have much vertical space to work with but I did raise the lights one more notch, based on your advice. Most of what I see seems like nute burn more than heat from the light. Thanks for taking the time to take a look and tell me what you think.

if it dried up in 2 days after a flush you didn`t do enough. it is still burning and has heat issuses. i also use the pure blend but i use the whole line of stuff.
starting again at 2/3 nute mix after a flush is to much. after a flush you need to start over at 1/4.
i have brought my ppm up to 2500 with this stuff and no burn. if you use it correctly you shouldn`t have this problem

Thanks a lot bonz. I'm now better setup to do a real flush so will do that tonight.

Also, quiet420guy: You're right, less IS more. That's something I'm aware of in nearly everything else in my life, I just got too excited by this project. I'll settle down a bit now. :blsmoke:
