leaves dying very fast - bud leaves curling?

They don't look much worse at night :P
Seriously though man I think it looks like most of them are doing better. You have some pics of one that all the fan leaves are super wilted beside the buds, but the rest look like the leaves are perkier. Although most are still yellowish their structure looks better.
Love your new thermo man, I think I'll be getting that one too!!! The display is nice and huge!
I did however notice that your ballast is inside your grow room. They throw off some heat too. When I first started growing in closets I used to have to cut a whole into the attic and put the ballast in there to dissipate some heat. Also will give you that little bit more space without having to worry about it getting wet.
As far as run off goes, you should have run off when you're watering. It doesn't have to be a shitload but you should start to see some run off before you finish watering the plant. You know, like pour some, let it absorb, pour a bit more, let it absorb, until you start to see some run off. Then like Realstyles said it's a good idea to check the ph of your run off then you know where you're standing. I never used to do that but it makes perfect sense. I also just remembered that before I decided to go to hydro I had the idea to get a, now in retrospect, a hydro drain tray, or a kiddie pool or something to put the plants in. Have that tray suspended enough with a drain to catch the run off. I used to just have my floor lined with plastic and use a two bucket system for run off on each plant. One with holes, one without. Empty the buckets before each watering. Much more of a pain in the ass lol!!

Love the pics!! You've got a shitload of bud man!

I hope so haha! Yea ill have to move that ballast, at the moment its sitting on stove burner guards so its not sitting right on the carpet. But ive just been trying to visualize where its going to go, i need more room haha! As far as the run off, today i took the meter to it. The water with 1/4 strength Grow Big and Big Bloom (ditched the tiger bloom) was 6.3-6.4 and the run-off water was 6.1? Just trying to understand that whole thing. But i hope im not making my water too acidic! My soil PH tester is a pile of shit so i don't really want to use it but ill check the soil PH again. I need to find a damn greenie scrubby thingy to charge it because i lost the charging cloth that came with it haha. Ill keep posted. But if you were to guess, how long would you say i got left on the grow? I do got a LED lite 30-50x zoom microscope but i cant find any damn charts so i know what im looking for.

That happened to my two plants in a cabinet once. Really fast. On the third day, I was flushing and having a heart attack. Then I noticed the plug had come undone from my intake fan. Air sucked out, none coming in. Don't know if that's yours, but my leaves looked exactly like that and quick. Plugged the fan in and they recovered within a week.

Well I always have a hard time judging just from pics, but one thing I always do is just try a nug. I dry it out by a lightbulb or something not too hot but warm enough to dry it in an hour or so. You'll get a somewhat idea anyways. Here's a pic for some trichome reference. I think there's some better pics if you google marijuana trichomes, but this one is a cute little almost high shcool hand out sheet lol.

And if your run off is 6.1 that's good man! 5.5-6.0 is perfect for hydro. A little higher is ok for soil man! So you're there! Just keep an eye on the run off and you'll see if your nutrient mix changes it. If your water/nute mix is 6.4 after you add nutes what's your water ph before the nutes? Just curious. I also think that keeping your solution at 1/4 mix should be fine. I'd say better to give them less then to worry if you're giving them too much. Some is better than none, and way better than too much lol. Here's a sick little graph I just found PH and nutrient availability at different PH levels. I'm actually pretty pumped about this find!!

Nutrient availability at PH Level.png
You can see how the range between 5.5 and 6 allows every nutrient to be available! :D

I couldnt of asked for better graphs haha thanks dudde! Water PH is 8.2 plain well water but i added PH down after the nutes, i just didnt know the exact number i should make my water and food mixtures. Any suggestions.

You should adjust your water ph before the nutes go in! Adjust it down to 5.7; 5.5-60 ! :) Then add nutes. Then test. Hopefully they don't change it too much.
My hydro nutes actually adjust my water from a 6.7 down to a 5.8 all by themselves. I found that about by forgetting to down my water before adding nutes. Then I tested after nutes and they did it themselves lol. One less product for me lol!

Well i added the nutes, tested ph it was at 6.8 then ph down'd it from there. Thats still OK right?

So i basically need to figure out how much 1/4 strength drops my water then PH the water accordingly? Just wondering how i am going to know what my PH will be after adding food. What if i PH down'd the water too much that, after adding food the water is too acidic, just had PH UP to adjust correctly? Also what is the correct run-off PH i should have?

Never mind, you already told me lol!

I don't think that's too cold, again personal opinion. I've grown outside, northern ontario, and I've had plants outside, uncovered, hit below 50 F at night, and hit 80 in the day. And those weren't plants genetically perfected for outdoors or anything. My room temps right now are between about 58 and 72, low and high respectively.

I also noticed on 1 of the plants that there are these yellowish/whitish almost like sprouts, they are not hairs i know that. What the heak are they? I dont have the camera right now but ill get a close up of them if you cant see it in the previous pics i took.

1 went hermie, the 2nd smelt so damn bad i let it mature then took it down that day( 1/2 orange trichromes under the scope) going to make those into hash. They have been curing for a week, so in another week, i would assume when all is said and done i will have over 200 grams of just buds and another 50 grams or more of leaf for bubble hash, and my indica made it and will be danky, pretty frosty right now, but i guess we wont know until the end.

Heres what happened. Im sure these seeds were shit because -

When i first bought the seeds from apparently a VERY unknown seed bank, they gave us 25 for free. Originally we baught AK47 ganja dwaft i had NEVER heard of. Well turns out not a single one pops so we germinate the 25 free seeds and 22/23 opened up, we kept 6 in the beginning but then i tried finding more info on it and they said the free seeds are from people that send back/donate seeds. So they could of been very pissed off and sent them back bean stock seeds or dirt schwag bag seeds, all i know is the 2nd one to go was fine and all, the bud was just gross...smelt like schwag/shit.

Should make good hash tho, i will get pics up when everyone is done! Thanks for the help tho, next grow is going to be perfect because of what i know now.
