Hello RIU,

This is my first grow and i'm running into some trouble. My plants all started as seeds and were put into jiffypots on Jan. 9th.

First off, i think they should be alot bigger than they are now. My biggest is only a couple inches and most are still working on their second or thirst set of leaves.

Second, a lot of the plants (all but the biggest) have leaves that are turning in.

In my photo of my setup i have 4 200W equivilent CFL's positioned above my box and a box fan(not pictured) blowing into the growbox.

Anybody know why the leaves could be turning in, slowing my growth? Its been almost a month since they germinated. Any and all help greatly appreciated =]

looks like they might be over nuted? is that miracle grow soil? if so i'd change it.
it could also be because of overwatering

I used black gold soil and try to let them dry completely out before I water again..

Also I do have a fan as stated in my first post

it looks like your soil might be a little acidic bro, try changing to some fresh lookin dark soil, not shit with chips in it, try to get a meter and get ph to 6.5 or so

I fixed up my grow room last night and my plants doubled in size.

What was the problem? acidic water? other shit? naw naw,

it was oxygen difficency! what what you say? ya just get your plants lots of water and o2, both are important. i had lots of water but not alot of fresh air. so give them air and they grow
