Leaves turning yellow during flowering

a few of my plants have lower leaves turning yellow and dying almost as if they are lacking nitrogen but I thought they don't need nitrogen while flowering. I gave them some nutes over a week ago and then gave them some more two days ago that had N. Any ideas? Just moved and the water is harder like 450ppm so I bought them fancy water and have been giving them that. Not sure what else it could be. Any help is appreciated as this will be my third harvest. Thanks!

a few yellowing leaves at the bottom in flowering are no big deal imo..
but yes flowering plants still need nitrogen, just not as much as in veg..

do you have pix of the entire plants and not the couple of dying bottom leaves?

Yea I guess the top ones are still good. There's one plant that has a few upper leaves yellowing. I don't have anymore pics. I'll have to take some more and post later. Thanks for the info

too much nitrogen in flowering can slow down flowering and decrease thc, but it's a common misconception that flowering plants don't need any nitrogen..

Well my soil has more than enough nitrogen. It should in all honesty probably carry me through flowering without any extra nutrients but some of the plants looked like the were struggling and losing too many fan leaves so I was just concerned. I still have 2-3 more weeks before chopping them down.

Oh yeah she's a youngin. What strain are you growing?
Well my light spacing has changed. I started them in a bucket with lights attached to the lid. It works but not ideal. Then I decided to build my own box. I wanted to make a framed one with 3 mil black plastic as the walls but just was cheap and used two wardrobe boxes. With light fixtures on the top. Can't lower the lights which is a bummer but again it's been working so in the bucket I could raise the lights as the plants get bigger by cutting buckets out at the bottom. Closet growing at its finest haha.

If there's an easy enough way I'd definitely reccomend getting the girls closer if you can to get closer node spacing and top them early next grow :)
