LED / CFL grow.... WW x BB....

I took 4 pretty good "stalks" off... for lack of a better word... branches I guess would do~ They were very straggly and certainly werent contributing anything to the plant.... there are others I would lop off if it were earlier on but I think I'm just going to leave well enough alone... I've heard horror stories about this strain going hermie so I just want to be safe lol!!!
I'm acquiring quite a bit of equipment as this has become more than just SLIGHTLY addictive... so this will definitely not be my last grow.. but rather my first of many... live and learn~

new tent arrived today so in went the 150w HPS to the mix!! So now running (2) 100w blackstars...one mini sunsystem and left one of the 105w cfl's in for good measure because I had an extra timed outlet~ took a few pics to pass along... she looks happy!!! today is 25th day flowering....



I'm assuming its the HPS adding those lines to my pics.... but you can get a good idea

what size is the tent? Keep it up, doing great!

the new tent is 32" square and 5'3" tall.... thing is huge compared to the Growlab40... but now I have the space to have everything aiming just where I want it... much less stressful!! can't wait to see what the HID is going to do to those buds!! and Puff... while I have ya here... what's your take on BudCandy??? I grabbed a bottle at the hydro store cuz it was on special... I see rave reviews and people who hate it... just curious what you think??

I've never personally used bud candy. I also hear good things about it, haven't heard anyone saying they hated it. Curious what bad reviews you've heard?

I guess the one that sticks out is a guy on youtube.... the vid is called why you shouldnt use budcandy I think... I think he may have a hidden agenda though... He seemed to dwell on the fact that it was a Canadian product... most people rave about it so I'm gonna give it a shot... loaded with carbs and amino acids so I cant imagine it being a bad thing.... we shall see

So today is the 31st day of flowering.... been using all of the FF nutes and added some bud candy into the mix... got a deal on it so figured I'd give it a shot... had a little hermie scare about a week ago... at least I think I did....lol! saw 2 little suspicious nuggets at the bottom of the plant.... removed quickly and carefully and havent seen anything since.... fingers crossed on that~ Buds are looking nice but looking forward to them really filling in aver the next few weeks... do they look about right for 31 days??? I'm not complaining.... but of seen pics of the bb x ww that were just ridiculous!!! I may not have the light to produce monsters like that... we'll see tho

Just took a few more pics... just going over the plant making sure there are no issues.... clean bill of health.... and starting to get frosty!!!!!!!

Love your plant donnie!!! Really nice job... she is looking really healthy and those colas are great =D you are wise to look for a little amber in the trichs... Give it time! Are you using a microscope? I need to get a better one... I really don't like this little cheapo ebay '30x' (<--my ass) lighted jewelers loupe that I am using... it's a POS

ty guys!! and gals! having a great time opening the tent every morning and see what has gone down while she slept!! and yes.. although I trimmed a few branches off the bottom early on I left some because I didnt want her to stress... so there are brownies in my future...lol!!! I did have a hermie scare early on... found a couple of "doo-dads" near the base of the main stem... got rid of them quickly and she's been clean ever since.... maybe 4 weeks now I'd guess ty both for the wonderful compliments! and Psytrance... I have a loop claiming to be 40X.... I can see things pretty well when I take her out of the tent... but trying under the lights is nearly impossible... the led's seem to give false readings as to what Im looking at...lol!

yea lol you can't be looking at em under the LEDs! shit gets all jacked up under those I wear sunglasses when around my LEDs for very long... but yeah you like your 40x loop? this one I have is just... you know, I get the general idea of what is going on with my trichs, but I wanna just snag one of those cool USB lighted scopes with camera for like 100 bucks that I have seen linked before... hrm let me have a look... ... . . wow you get looking and you find all kinds of crap!

almost forgot to answer the question... as for my 40X.... it was like $6 to my front door.... I can see things pretty well.... but judging by some pics I've seen on here I'm not getting the whole picture... but bang for the buck.... it was worth it.. I mean I can see the trichs... can see that they are still clear.... any more than 2 or 3 minutes at a time though... I'm thinking inevitable headache...lol!

I topped once bong face... the seedbank warned about doing it too much because the strain is noted for producing some pretty heavy buds and I would need to do a lot of support ties which I didnt want to get involved with... still ended up tying some up though...lol
