OK so i have to admit i havent really done much research. i know what a c.o.b is know for the most part they need to be mounted on a heat sink and powered by a driver. not really a tech guy. but Im a d.i.y.er. the reason im going to led or at least why im thinking of it is i plan on building a stealth cab design to look like a garage work desk station. pretty much a low box...the size? not to sure yet but 2x3x6 ft. is the idea....growing autos

dont want to spend to much money my first run. so i was thinking these and run them at 50% or lower

not sure how many i would need but i was thinking maybe 6-8 and was thinking of running them on their own heat sinks with the fan...cpu coolers???... i know the drivers are able to run a few at a time. i hear a few people like each cob to have its own driver but i dont want to take that route i run a 600 watt hps on either the 50 or 75% setting and i have crazy temps. im hoping that the led setup would help me in my quest to lower my temps.
