The Chinese Quantum Board Knock Off Builds
Guys, I got 2x bare boards without everything. I want to get driver for it. I know HLG-240-48A/AB or ELG-240-48A/AB is the best choise for them but they are pricey and wanna know if there is any cheaper solutions out there. As I know they work 47-52V @ 500=2700ma. What if I get XLG-240-HA...

I have one of the meiju 480w versions of that fixture. It is used in my pheno tent and compared to my Vero/F strip fixtures it's very nice, The only real negative using Far-East suppliers is the warranty and actually getting the chips they say they using. You pays your money, you takes your chances...

Thanks a lot! After reading what people had to say about Meiju at that thread and on my thread as well I think I'm gonna take the plunge and buy the 240w set.
I'll update once it arrives

TLDR; ordering from China is extremely unreliable right now. Sourced my light from the US and couldn't be happier
Deciding on ordering from the alibaba during a pandemic was not a great idea. After being promised by Meiju product would be delivered within a 10 days, I was informed of a delay 24 hours after I paid the $200 . I guess they forgot they had a holiday before that. After two weeks Meiju said they can't supply the lights at all. Disappointed, I turned to the other reputable Chinese supplier, KingBrite which again made promises about delivery with nothing to back it up. So after waiting a month I gave up on China. The only local option here for QBs are shitty brand-less China models, only these cost $400, twice as much than if you self import.
So I went with the fuck it option and ordered HLG's 260w 3500k DIY kit from the US. Man am I glad I pulled that trigger. With UPS int'l shipping and customs , the HLG ran me a little more than $400, but the quality assurance and the quick delivery (4 days from Tennessee to my door) made it all worth it. As you can see the fan leaves no longer look dead from 30C° Heatwave climate they had with HPS, happily pointing upwards in a relatively cozy 23.8 C°.
I still gotta figure out how to mount the carbon filter to the exhaust fan directly, but other than that, me and the girl are chilling, quite literally
