I'm no expert but I doubt that the LEDs would have any effect. I guess if there were a lot of them, they might interfere with the grow cycle when the lights are off but probably not. probably would not help growth either. If they look cool and there are not too many leave em. probably would look sick.

depending on price, i would probably just go with ones without the leds. I'm really just interested in the selectable switch for airflow. I thought about using a fan controller but it would be cheaper to just by one with the controls already engineered into them. i really just would like to know if there could be positive or negative consequences using them. thanks in advance to all who contribute knowledge to this thread.

Cooler Master 120x25mm Dual Ball Silent Fan (Y720CCD-25K1-GP) - 109.6CFM - FrozenCPU.com

Offers a dail that you can control a fan with, better option than a three speed dealie. It also moves more air than the one you wanted, plus it doesn't have LED lights on it. I ordered two for myself a while back, I liked them. I ended up upgrading the lights and being forced to switch to an S&P Td Mixvent fan. That's a sweet one too.

If you don't like the one I picked out, look around on the Frozencpu.com website. They have a shit load of fans.

yeah those look good, i ended up getting three Yate Loon fans for like four bucks a piece and an Ultra four fan controller. works great now i have to find a way to extend the wiring length for my rubbermaid growbox :(

GrowTech

stays relevant.
Sorry bud, but they wont have enough LEDs to yield positive results, but they WILL be enough to confuse the plants about whether 12/12 is really being used.
