LED for my plants

I am currently running a 4x4 with a 600W HPS light. this has only been a test on a single bubba kush stain. everything has so far gone well although I have had absolutely extreme heating issue I can not seem to cool my tent for the life of me and it is not even summer here in southern california which means my issues have not even really started yet. this problem has led me to think of LED the problem is I have no clue what wattage I will need for my setup I will have 6-9 Vegetative plants in my 4x4 ( I will not be the flowerer so space will not be an issue). I need to know what wattage i will need on my LED to fully replace the 600W HPS thank you for your help.... smoke on also if you could recommend a few brands and websites for cheaper or better lights please let me know

There are some good test results at growershouse.com. They say a 400W it looks like on the Cali Light Works ones. My results seem right so far on my 200W.

I just watched the video and it is very helpful in regards to the type of light to get I still have no idea what wattage would be best for me 4x4x6 1/2

I would say the most light you can afford. Hard to have too much light. Well with HPS can be too much cause of heat. But me with the LED I actually had to by a timer to turn my vent off sometimes cause it got to cold! Which is crazy cause years ago under a 1K heat was always an issue even running a fan just for the light. The LED even puts out significantly less heat then my T-5.

I'm not buying any of the LED crap HID all the way or go home but I def understand if the hids are way to hot, u ever think of a cooltube for your hps ? 5 years ago when the leds first came out the my brother who ownes many hydro stores the led technology sstill won't be at its best for atleast another 5 years oor atleast that many years to match a prper. Hid set up.
