I have noticed on ebay recently that there seems to be a large number of LED lights advertised as grow lights. I am aware that they produce next to no heat so would be useful for a discreet grow, due to no heat signature being noticeable.
I have heard bad things about some of the fake UFO lights being sent out from china on YouTube and customers not being happy with them but some of the rectangle light boards look good and wanted to know what peoples experiences and opinions where on using them as the main light source or even as a supplementary source of light.
If this area is of interest to people maybe a sub forum same as the CFL light forum may be something to consider, if its not already here and I have missed it.
