LED growing: what changes should we make?, from our HID grow

Right off the bat I would say you don't need to feed your plants as much so go light on the nutes. You'll be watering less too, so be careful of overwatering otherwise you'll trash your roots. Don't treat your LED as a drop in replacement for your HID. Depending on the light, it might take a grow or two to see what is the best way to hang it.

Other growers around this section have switched from HID to LED so hopefully they'll chime in with some more practical advice for you, but the above advice is a good start. Good Luck and Happy Growing!

light height is the biggest for me.Depending on the quality of Leds will dictate your light height.

Ambient temps and RH will be considerably lower, so you need to adjust up if you are in cold climate

so exhaust less to keep the temp higher?, if exhausting normaly say x2 min and the temps too low, heating the area will be hard because its going straight out the exhaust, what to do?

Add a heater, they come in any size...

LED's give off heat...not a lot of heat; but definately don't run cool as so overly advertised, now don't misconstrue this for me saying they're not cool.

I could lick those fuckers if I wanted to...try to even get within 6" of a 600. lemme know.

Another big difference i thought would've been a first to be spoken of:

Grow style- LST, SCROG, you're going to need something.
