Omfg I think I may have figured out why all vertical growth stopped I ran out of canna terra vega without actually realising until it was too late borrowed nutes from mate he said he had plenty of them there and to work away until I went to the grow shop so he filled me up 2.5ltr bottle with what I was sure of was terra vega turns out now my mate isn't fully 100% but thinks it was camna terra flores by mistake but as I said isn't 100% so I compared the colour of both nutes in glasses looks very on the flores side rather than the vega one is slightly darker than the other so if this is the case..... have I fucked up a little or a lot ????? Any takers on that 1??

Your plant won't stop growing because you gave it flower nutes in veg. There are brands that are one part the whole cycle eg megacrop. Flower nutes and veg nutes are the same thing (for the most part) just in different ratios.

Maybe you're just impatient.?
Did you just transplant them recently? Usually takes a few days for them to get going again as they're usually making roots instead of above ground growth.
They look compact, and bushy. Maybe a bit too much light? A Par Meter is a valuable and accurate tool when learning with led.
Im not a fan of phone apps, or lux meters. Par meter or bust imo.

Nah I have grown this strain 3 tines before all under 2x 600w hps about 2 weeks just explosion of growth vertically then I usually top either 4th or 5th node after about 4-5 days of stress free living they bounce back from the topping and lower growth starts to pick up then plant rebounds from the topping, less are set at 75% power now at 18inches from tops so there on like roughly 580-600 true Watts used a par meter 3 days ago reading between 550 and 600 ppfd which is more than adequate at there current size and stage so again beats me to be honest may just wait and see surely the fact that nitrogen is greatly reduced in the blooming nutes compared to the veg nutes surely just in pace vertical growth in some form......

Hey so I'm running 2x led fixtures 720w a piece have 10x plants in veg started with a smaller led fixture to raise from seed then transplanted into next container, have the led fixtures set to 60% power to giving off I'd say around 432w a piece set at this power level they are about 20inches above the canopy at this point as I moved them from say 14 inches up to that 20 because growth was painfully slow now that I have moved the lights up they are like little bushes or hedging is it just me or am I still too low to the canopy with the lights??? Any advice would be grately appreciated thank you in advance

I got a hundred watt 12 inches and maybe that's too close so .. no par meter but a math guess .. I assume a 4 sided pyramid for light dispersion at 60 degrees pyramid angle by my calc approx. I got 100/192 = .52 watt per sq inch. at 12 inch. (edit: at 18") You got at 60% 420/432 = .97 watt per sq inch. So your double my watt per sq inch. Maybe I need to lower my light or maybe you need to raise yours lol. To get to .5 watt per sq inch according to this guestimate you need to raise your light from 18" to ... deet do det do deet... 25 inches. Check my math.. mileage may vary.

Couldn't be that far off. Please do tell what your par meter says difference is between 18 " and 25" with both at 60%. You'd be helpign me out too.

I found manufacturer specs and ppfd chart for my light they are now at 22inches from canopy running at 75% power and giving between 500-700 ppfd across the canopy hope this helps, I'm so used to seeing the plants shoot up but that's with 600hps and to be honest now after seeing the led results of less stretch and a little tighter nodal spacing the results should far out weigh the hps so much better branch growth and fatter branches not as much skinny unless lower branches that will only support flimsy buds so far led seems a better choice over hps
