So that is the website that has the full spectrum led grow light, and i was wondering if anyone has used or even heard of this light. The nm scales seem to be right and has the uv leds in it. It sounds light a good lamp but it's pretty cheap as far as leds go and was wondering what people thought. Thanks for your help:weed::weed:bongsmilie

thats not very cheap actually, thats just a led board someone made for about 50 probally. im sure you could make one yourself for under $200-250(his is cheaper cuz he probally bought in bulk packages) yourself. i think green thumb wannabe has a thread where he tells you how to make one step by step, at least i think thats who posted it.

Thanks you guys for all your input. I agree with you guys, that this is a pos light that someone made. What are some of the high end models of leds(that are not even close to related to ufo)that have proven succes or are supposed to be the shit. Any input if always appreciated thank you for you help.:weed::weed:bongsmilie

If $399 is your price range (like the cost of that LED), I'd recommend http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-250-Watts-Quad-Band-LED-Grow-light-2010-2Watts-Chip-/140416637021?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item66724073ba
That's a 250w panel for about $340. It's also uses High Power 2w LEDs instead of the cheapy low-wattage ones (allowing better canopy penetration).

Look out for some of those sites. Always cross check the prices with equivalents from ebay.
Those sites advertise at over $1200 each, here are 2 of MANY auctions for the same panel at around $500.

Here is a 300w panel using 1w LEDs http://cgi.ebay.com/300W-Tri-Band-LED-Hydroponic-Plant-Grow-Light-288-LEDs-/180520427164?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a07db1e9c
Or, a panel with 3w LEDs for a little more. http://cgi.ebay.com/300-Watts-Quad-Band-LED-Grow-light-2010-7th-series-CE-/140417074042?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item6672410371

I have a 450w panel with 3w LEDs, I got it for just under $600 and it's AWESOME. Super bright, runs very cool, not heavy at all. I plan on getting a second at some point! Ballast built in, I can just plug it straight into any normal socket and BAM! it's running.

If money is no option then it depends on coverage and penetration. If you are sea of greening them, you won't need much penetration. I'd recommend a couple 300w panels side by side. If you are planning on a few big plants rather than numerous tiny ones, I'd get the bigger 450-600w panels.

I know this sounds CRAZY but I saw this auction for 20 UFOs (90w). http://cgi.ebay.com/20PC-New-90W-LED-UFO-Triband-Hydroponic-Grow-Light-/350366598671?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item51937a060f
With that many, you can have multiple rooms, use them for flower, veg, anything. They are very light-weight, portable, you can hang them on top, the sides, pointing in at angles. The thing about LEDs once you're into the high power grow lights (90w+) then there isn't a huge difference in strength, just penetration and coverage. 20xUFO is 1800w of madness!

20 may be over kill, but I've got 6 right now plus a 450w panel. Even though the panel is stronger, you can just do so much more with the little UFOs because of size, the big one is pretty much always stuck up top, but the little ones go anywhere.

Im actually growing with led lights. I have the ufo full spectrum one that
uses only 90w but the output is as strong as a 400w hps, its realky good
my plants are growing fantastic and I save money in the light bill.

I have 2 autoflowers under a 3w 180watt LED light loving life right now. Check out my Coco & LED grow journal for pics. If money is no object, start with one or 2 panels depending on grow room size and number of plants. you can always add a couple ufos or extra panels to suit your unique needs.
