Led lighting for other plants

I just got curious today since cannabis requires so much light to produce high yields. I am wondering how different it would be for other plants

If someone was growing lettuce for example how many watts per sq ft would people use?

Or tomatoes? As far as I know 30w per sq ft is recommended for cannnabis.

How different are these other plants would they only need 15w per sq ft or are they similar to cannabis?

Cheers

Cheers I'll take a read of that. I was just curious as to wether is was financially possible to have a farm of veg grown under lights.

Unless you can get away with 5-10 watts per sq foot though I think the electric cost would be too high for the sale value?

Do you reckon you could get away with 5-10 watts per sq foot for large scale veggies growing? If using good cobs?
