I think it was a bagseed pink og. Not too sure though really, i remember being not 100% sure so I took an educated guess. It kind of looks/smells more like blue dream that I had some bagseeds of too. Can I retro-actively change the name of the strain to "not sure?"

haha I was gonna say the same thing but 100 instead of 50! then I erased it, now rewriting haha. You could have each cup touching each other and you just water the whole thing all at once
I was going to say 100 as well and held back! But man, it looks like a 100 wouldn't be a problem if they all grew the same as what puff has going now!

Yeah, I was thinking about doing a ton of party cups and seeing what the yield would be like. It will be interesting to compare it to the 1g sour diesels I have going too.
"100 Party Cup 12/12 from seed coco coir sea of green" - The bar has been set! Who is going to take charge? And come on, really, who wouldn't sub that fucking thread?! :bigjoint:

Amaximus, I am really interested in that mainlining technique, but when I checked out that thread, I had a hard time understanding exactly where you are supposed to make the cut. Can you help out with that, maybe next time you do one post some pics of exactly what nodes you're supposed to cut at? I'd appreciate it very much as I'm sure some others would too.
From what I gathered from his growing technique he tops very early in veg stage. He pretty much left the bottom two nodes and removed evrything above that. I have read through his thread at least 3 times now and he does mimick subcool in his way of topping. I'm going to try this Mainlining with several bag seeds I just germ'd, I've been doing some of this technique with the way I LST, only letting the plant get taller and having so many branch below. Never thought of trying this when I first started growing but then I didn't know about this mainlining til a few days ago. My plan is to do a few in compost and a few in DWC, 5 gallon buckets. Just went and got me a few Smart Pots to check out how well they will help root structure also.
Like Tx said. You pretty much start topping/training early. nugbuckets likes to wait until they are like 8-12 inches tall and has a few nodes. He likes to top just above the third node and remove anything below for clones and then x-plant to a 2G all at the same time... I found his guide to be pretty confusing as well and considering it has like 50+ pages and people are still asking for clarification I think everyone may be right...

IMO though mainlining isn't nearly as strict as it seems to people. It really is just a matter of topping the first time, bonding the new growth down, topping again, twice, re-bonding and repeating over and over while working off the just one main.

Personally I top as soon as I have anywhere from 3-5 nodes. I see no reason to wait. I then keep topping/bonding as soon as I possibly can. I try to stress the fuck out of them early so they can grow in peace later.

Sorry, Rambling i think... it's early and I haven't smoked...

Anyway, I think I have photos of this bagseed since the start. let me get the pictures together and see if I can string them together for a little tutorial. If not I'll document the entire process with another plant... Ive got a bunch going right now and all of them will be mainlined to some degree.

nice pics amax, its inspiring!!I see I got lots of experimenting to do with 12-12 from seed

That is probably why you sex later (early stress), but its amazing that you had time to mainline it so much without vegging and in a party cup too!! I will have to give it a try!! I cant decide whether I should continue with the 12-12 from seed in both room, its fkin awesome to have so many different strain on the go and not having to wait 5 months after you popped the beans to enjoy it!! I could run the dehumidifier 24-7 to counter humidity problems in my basement from having so many containers. Its certainly not affecting my overall yields not to veg them, only affecting the yield per plant.
I never gave that any thought regarding why they didn't sex so soon. The Super Haze wasn't lst'd at all and didn't show sex until the end as well, So maybe not as much of a stress factor as we think... IMO this was probably luck. If this plant shows sex early and doesn't "veg" for so long I just wouldn't have had the time to lst this bitch the way i did. I could have easily would up with some crazy bush that didn't let me finish what I started. heh. Know what i mean? It just so happens she waited for me to be done with her! lol

your manifold is so clean and straight too!! I would show her off in the mainlining thread!! and in the 12-12 from seed thread as well!! Its amazing haha, I wish you luck for the budding :bigjoint:
Thanks, Endo! I think at some point I might have posted something about this girl in nugs mainlining thread... But it was early and everyone was so excited I think they just scrolled past it. I might have to stick my head in there again though...

Noooooo! The biggest all-star of the grow and we don't know exactly what strain she is?! Take clones! re-veg! clone, clone, clone! MuAhHAh.

Ok, ok. I'm back in control... oh, coffee! *sip*

Looking good, Psycho. The girls are recovering quite well. Maybe remove those dried up leaves on the bottom of the cup? They look like a fire hazard. lol. j/k

Question: How come everyone that allowed their girls to grow untrained have nice stout single donkey dicks whole the one plant I didn't train (The Super Haze) is fucking 37 feet tall?

Just wanted to toss a fast summary of the first few weeks of mainlining Bagseed #2, as requested. It isn't a great guide and probably doesn't explain as much as it should but I wanted to get it all on one page. I'll document the next one I do very closely.

partycup023.jpg partycup024.jpg 10 Days old; First Topping. Left to recover.

partycup034.jpg partycup035.jpg partycup036.jpg The following week: new growth. Left to recover a bit more.

partycup046.jpg partycup047.jpg 21 Days old: new growth is topped again and left to recover some more.

partycup057.jpg partycup058.jpg partycup059.jpg Sometime during week 4 is when I finally started to stake everything down. All the new growth was doing well yet still pliable. You can see there are now 4 main tops and 2 smaller tops. Those 2 smaller tops are normally removed for clones as per nugbuckets guide. I left them. You can see from current photos that it is best to remove them as well and only work from the main trunk.

partycup067.jpg partycup068.jpg partycup078.jpg partycup079.jpg This is where I stopped topping. The next two weeks, And since then, I've just been training the growth I have. You would top all new growth and continue training the same way for eight tops, 16 tops and so on. Obviously you'd also do a transplant or two during all this. First to a 2G or 3G smart pot and then finally to a 7G or 10G pot just as you flip to 12/12.

Amaximus, alot of the growth to your Haze is do to it's sativa genetics and some to do with light placement. I know in the case with mine it was pretty much light placement having it set to high. Lesson learned.

I think a 100 cup grow could be done but the expence would be a bit much for that many seeds, that is if they were all female. To go bag seed you would end up doubling the cups to go with the 50/50 male to female ratio for regular seeds (non-feminized). It would be an impressive grow to see that many cups at once.

Unknown, you have a fantastic looking plant. Like those frosty little nugs stickin out.

yeah lets make some noise with the leds!!

I just went through the thread and looked at all the updates, I am so impressed!!! I know I said it in my previous post but I say it again. Thanks Eraserhead for the future contest, that is mighty kind of you. I feel like I have done my share after this one. I will be participating again though!

Only way I could participate is to get a light or two like Puff or Dawg and even you Endo. Man you have got a great lookin bunch of buds there. Fantastic job, those little beauties still need to fatten up, I'd say you are still in it to win.

That Super Haze was setting the pace as far as panel height goes. She has spent most of her time within 6 inches of it. I learned my lesson last grow and was trying to keep them from stretching but the super haze wasn't hearing it, Sativa dominates! hehe. Seriously, That's why the stem broke. She was so close that when i went to lift her one day i had no room and bamf! Hell, Poor bagseed #2 is sitting atop two coffee cans to make up the difference and get more light! lol.

Don't overthink the 100 cup 12/12 from seed sog! I would think whoever tried it would have a bunch of seeds from a prior breeding, *cough*, Super Haze x Bagseed #1, *cough* lol. I think I'd start like 100 regs and cull out the males. As soon as that happened I'd fill in the spaces with more seeds and repeat until i have all fems. Sure some would be on a different timeline but going 12/12 what does it matter? It'd kind of be perpetual!

Man, The more I think about this the more I want to do it. ha!

I'm loving the competition. There is just something about it that after two months still has me excited. Once this is over I have to switch the tent back to 18/6 and get my grow in order... So if we're doing another 12/12 I'm gonna have to think of something...

WEEK 9 UPDATE

View attachment 2318887View attachment 2318888View attachment 2318889View attachment 2318890

The one in the room is pretty much useless, it will grow a nice bud but nothing impressive... the one in the tent still has some potential, but nothing will be so special.

I am so impress with you all.
You never know End... You girls were looking a little sad a few weeks back and since you raised them they've been flourishing. I'd say as far as budding goes your directly behind puff...?

Hey, matt! Glad you enjoyed the read. We love seeing new faces in the thread.

I know I won't win but this is enjoyable as hell. My glow panels only pull 9 watts each I think. I'm sitting at about 40 watts but with proper placement and training they can pull off some magic. I'll post a photo of a little 12/12 clone I have that's nearing it's end. One glow panel.

Just a little clone I had no room for in the veg tent, so I threw it under the glow panel in the flower room. Giving her light nutes, perhaps a bit too much N. Going to start on PK-13-14 soon.

She's purdy in my opinion. Just a nice little plant grown under 9 watts.
