Same here. I have to run the 6" fan on full. The tent starts sucking itself in and I still have the heat. That is the reason Im looking for another light, but it may be an issue with all lights.....Maybe a little less with LED, but still an issue. I did not think this would be as hard of a decision as it is.

I also used to run it in a 3x3 with a 6" exhaust. had heat issues all summer here where I live, but in the dead of winter it worked awesome haha
I eventually converted to LED and now in winter have to keep my tent warm enough by using heat in the room the tent sits in. So in the end, I'm always chasing my tail a bit lol

oh man, it took me months to decide on LED, take your time and make sure you are happy in the end it will be worth it, I'm sure...
patience is a huge lesson I'm learning over and over again

So I decided to stick with the LEC315. Does anyone have a suggestion on how close it should be to the tops of the plants in veg? I just kept it at the top of the tent (as high as I could) but I am wondering if I should keep it closer.any thoughts?

No idea how tall your tent is, but it seems likely that your light is too high

a little over 7 feet is the tent. Thank you for this! I think I am too high in Veg and in flower
