So, I've never actually grown a male plant from seed. Both of these came from different bags - one legally purchased and one from a friend. Both immediately stretched and began flowering very quickly. Today I noticed that in the last couple days they had drastically changed.
Both are dudes right?
I've had plants hermie, but never had an actual male plant. I am going to pull them both out and put them under a light in another room just to gather their pollen. Hoping that it doesn't screw up the two in there. I might just take the one that is furthest along out and harvest her before she starts making seeds. Bummer on the Durban Poison. But on the bright side, I am not sure her clones are doing so hot, so if I could get her genetics at least partially in seeds from one of these males that would be cool. She really grew nicely and is putting up big colas now.
