HAS ANYONE USED THIS AND DOES IT REALLY REPLACE A 400WATT HPS.... IT JUST SEEMS NOT RIGHT...OR EVERYONE WOULD USE THIS FOR ONLY $180 AND ONLY USES 90WATTS.... IF IT REALLY WORK THINKING FOR BUYING THIS INSTEAD OF A 150WATT HPS SYSTEM .... PLEASE LET ME KNOW SO I DONT WASTE MY LIMITED MONEY I HAVE. THANKS

The wattage it uses, 90 you said it is the Real usage, it's also the real output wattage.
How could 90 watts create 400 watts?

Just like fluorescent bulbs that claim 100 watts and use 23 watts.
They put out 23watts.
We all know they can only put out what they take in.

ok i just since a grow done with this he grow 1 plant start to finish with a TRUE UFO LED and 1 plant start to finish with 400w HPS and yield dry was only off by 1 oz more with HPS. So i dont know that seems fishy but its a whole vid journal on youtube.

i have seen fake UFO with the authenic sticker and all, If you open it and read the Wattage of each bulb should be 2w each not 1w to see if u go the real or fake... am just going to try it and order it from the UFO website.

What your statement should tell you is: there is much more to leds/lights than wattage. 2 years ago you would be lucky to find 1w leds at 80 CRI and 90 lpw, now we have 95+ CRI and 140 lpw- BIG DIFFERENCE.

I have gotten comparable results with ~ 115w of leds v 432w of specialty 4ft tubes from the aquarium industry ($$$). See my current thread

UFOs are not the best shape (I have 3). Square or rectangular allows the grower to add more panels, and butt them up against each other for a more continuous footprint coverage
