Yeah, the buds haven't formed yet, so I should be okay. The weather has been rainy lately. It should get lower to around 40% soon.

Buds formed about a week ago, but the branches were generally really thin. The LED sucks for penetrating more than 3ft, so even if I had the led at the very top of the plant, the lower portion didn't get enough light.

I ended up putting my plant in w/ my hps light. I'll do another experiment with a shorter plant

Another thing about this panel, I bought 3 others for my veg room. They didn't have any markings on the back. This one however says 45w when their site says 50watt.

So this panel isn't any better than the sunshine systems grow panel 45 which is 45 watt and looks almost identical.. It's also the same price. They make the ufo as well which has been around for a long time. I didn't find out about their panel until after I already purchased the led lights I got. Here's the link: http://shop.sunshine-systems.com/product.sc?productId=10

Alright, after talking to them via the internet, their return policy is if it breaks within the first 2 weeks of receiving it, they'll send you a shipping label and replace it that way. Otherwise, you have to pay for it to be shipped back, and they'll replace it.

I'm pretty strapped for cash right now since I lost my job, so I'm just going to keep it. I know a bit about EE, so I should be able to fix it fairly easily.

I highly recommend not buying these lights. Although I am a fan of LED technology, I'd just stick to the brand name. Hopefully you guys won't make the same mistake I made

Dude crack that shit open and post some pics!

I'm sure that circuit can't bee too complicated, I'm quite interested as to how it works...

What is the power supply? Is there a buck boost circuit or something, or is a simple resistance circuit?!

Check the pic below, its going to look very very similar to that. I now have 18w, 50w, and 55w panels and the guts look almost identical in all of them. Less soldering on the 18w but the board looks about the same.
