Legalization sucks !!!

Now that everybody can grow..they are !

After they put the fire out downstairs the landlord is putting a "no grow" clause in the lease.

This idiot had 3 x 1000 lights hooked to one 15 amp circuit...kept blowing the fuse. So guess what he did ?

He put a larger breaker in..melted the wiring and started the fire.

Luckily I know the owner and was able to talk him into letting us " sane " growers have 10 weeks to finish our crops.

The owner was really cool about letting red carders grow..for years.

Now some dumb shit screwed that up.

I'll get enough this crop to last me a year...but next year if he doesn't reverse the policy, I'll have to move to some place that does.

This sucks..I've lived here for 13 years. I like it here.

Be careful of what you wish for..

Your anger/frustration is completely misplaced.

Legalization is a good thing, retards who don't know shit about electricity is the bad thing.

I'd be less pissed off cannabis is legal and more pissed off my idiot neighbor doesn't know what the fuck he's doing and ruined it for everyone else if I were you.

I agree with Padawan, to some extent. Although, I personally agree that legalization is not the way to go. When something is legalized, specifically a "drug" in the FED's eyes, they HAVE TO regulate it. Thats what the Food and Drug administration does (FDA) Instead of us, the actual growers, growing the bomb, it will be left up to either A. A licensed grower sanctioned and regulated by state, or B. It will be grown by the Gov. in a fuckin factory style set-up. much like they did at Missisippi State, and it will be some garbage ass weed... I live in Oregon and Washington are our neighbors... I have heard so much bullshit about how its totally "legal" to be in possesion of an ounce of herb, BUT its ILLEGAL to buy herb, sell herb, and Especially grow herb. What kind of shit is that?! I thought it was legal... What WA is doing is permitting a VERY small group of people to grow under these insane guidelines, that entail everything from making sure there are no harmful pesticides (def. a good thing) used, to what nutrients, yada yada yada... Completely regulated in every regard. Although, there ARE some good things that come from this. One being that we wouldn't have to worry about an uneducated grower burning the house down. All of the electricity would have to be looked over by a certified electrician and only after that a grow site would be acceptable to use. If the state even allowed you to grow (and they probably wouldn't)
The problem with medical programs is that in that grey area is where all of the discrepencies lie. I.E. -In OR our plant number is 6 mature (over 1 foot tall and 1 foot wide) and 12 immature (vegging plants under a foot) An OR grower can legally posess up to 72 oz.s of dried herb. (dont quote me on this) but I can personally yield wayy more than that off of 6 huge bushes. So where does all that extra medicine go?? In the pockets of the grower... These "legal" states growers will no longer have that option. Personally I really enjoy making some profit on top of helping my patients. Straight up. I also really enjoy not having the watchful eye of the man telling me how to grow my herb, and then telling me that its illegal to even give it to patients in need. What kind of shit is THAT?!
Lets all push for DECRIMINALIZATION not LEGALIZATION! C'mon folks! Let's not allow uncle sam have any say in the way we grow our medicine!!!:peace::peace::peace::peace::peace::peace::peace:

He woulda started the fire regardless if it was legal or not. These are things we all must be careful of though, its easy to get thoughtless and overload that circuit. Sucks, sorry to hear it, but maybe its time to go find a place where someone else can't burn you out of your home?

Since you're a red card holder, you could ask for a reasonable accommodation under the Colorado Fair Housing Act to permit you to grow. If he or she refuses, you would have the protection of disability rights laws (since you are "regarded as" being disabled, hence the red card), and although you wouldn't be able to enforce Federal rights, you would be able to import all of those protections and case law into State court. Of course, since your landlord seems to recognize that not everyone is an utter moron who is going to start a fire (by letting you finish up), he or she might be willing to let you keep something going so long as you kept it quiet, too.

Seems like all tenants are being victimized by one moronic mistake. Good luck with the manager, you never know how a little bud might brighten his day and make him look the other way, unless you ask, maybe by handing him an envelope with a joint in it. That was how we did it back in the day.:-o

This was actually a failure of the education system. The guy should know why circuit breakers and fuses exist, as safety valves to prevent the current from getting too high for the circuit. What a maroon. Hope he paid for the fire.

That article is 13 years old.
Cannabis Culture has a lot of garbage articles. They have one that claims feminized seeds make males and hermaphrodites. It is a terrible site.
