Luckily I have 2 30amp 220v and 2 20amp 120v circuitsalready available….

Been buying 250v duplex receptacles, timers, fans etc….Amazon is my friend!

Dude with all that room you could grow monsters. Some rdwc systems a few weeks veg you're straight. You would use less nutrients too. But why the different sized flower rooms?

I wanted two DWUC rooms and a room to play with trees. This is just how it layed out in the end..... LOL

Hey all….. Been working on the grow room all day and readingthe forum all evening. I am truly enjoying both. It takes a LOT of time to makeheads or tails of the methods and advice.

I have rooms B and C completed. Drywall and Panda Film onthe walls…..

Electric supply is ready to go….. Thanks for straitening meout on the timers. Hot water timers are NOT for lights!!!!

Unfortunately I placed my light a little to close andpromptly burnt all my babies……

My plan it to pick a strain to clone my first DWUC system.Pick a few plants to keep as mommies and flower out the others as small treesin coco.
Today I am working on rooms D and E. The lower portion of Dwill be my mommy retreat; the upper portion is my A/C and ventilation controlroom. As of now, heating the rooms will be necessary and I really don’t want toblow all my warm air out!

Room E is my Clone, Veg room. I will post photos and seeksome advice on a cloning system that was gifted to me.

Well it’s been three weeks since my last update. As things progress and get a bit more exciting, I will try to update more often.

Well I picked up a few larger clones from a friend, 2 Green LovePotion (somewhat stringy) 2 Black Russian and 2 Blue Venom. I am impressed with the Blue Venom and hope they yield as well as they look! I have veg’d them an additional two weeks, 40” tall now and on their 5[SUP]th[/SUP] day since I flipped them to 12/12. Now I’m worried about the stretch…. LOL. I added a 600wHPS to my 400w CMH light. The girls seem to be leaning towards the CMH and away from the HPS light. I know I need at least 600w for penetration.



Question: Does a “horizontal only” CMH bulb need to be perfectly horizontal or can I have 25-30 degrees of tilt and still be ok?

The other babies are 16-20in now….. I am not going to have enough space in the tree room for all of them! My plan is to harvest two and bring in two from veg each week. We will see how that works out….



Cloner is up and running. I have a dozen Platinum Girl Scout Cookies started for the big hydro room. The rest of the cloner is filled with misc. starts, especially some Blue Venom. If Blue Venom is as impressive as it has been so far, they will be the next hydro grow 3. Five days in the cloner and no roots yet….. 70degree water with a teaspoon of clone-x….. I am patiently waiting.



This is my DIY mega-cloner/sprayer/whateverthehellyouwanttocallit box I put together. This will be used to veg 6-8 weeks, and then the girls will go into the big hydros ystem. Photo 1 shows 5 days in the box without an air stone, sprayers only.Photo two is 24hrs later WITH an air stone! I read that air stones were not necessary…..I think they help! 5.9ph, 70 degree water with 500ppm Dyna-grow and a bit ofCalMeg…… GO GIRLS GO!

your attachments aren't working. Either way looking good. Those coco plants are going to be gigantic i fear, I hope you can take care of them. I really wish I could do this, but I would've picked either 600w dual arc or the 1k light with a 400w mh and a 600whps in one bulb. Either way though, sexy

yes they are working now. Wow... very nice. I wish i had this haha. I'm really considering doing an aero/dwc grow because of the fast growth, which would shorten the veg time with the huge factor. Did you make your own (I cant remember if you said you did) and ifso how hard/easy was it.

Yep, made it all myself with information found on this site and elsewhere.... I made a "super size" cloner to veg for a month then into the home made RDWC system. Not hard at all.....

OK…. Took a few photos to update the saga this evening….
Overall I am fairly happy with the progress. No major fuckups this week!....
Well…. Other than misreading my ppm meter (or getting inpatient) and running my hydro up to 1650ppm and burning the tips of the leaves…. LOL

Tree Room is doing quite well….. Waiting to get my first harvest soon!

Boggle Gum is being quite unimpressive….. 32 days in


Alaskan Thunderfuck is just getting going…… 22 days


Blue Venom is 45 days since flip…. All clear


Black Russian is looking GREAT!... 45 days and all clear

Nice. Gotta love those tuff boxes!

Yep, the Tuff Boxes are working great.... no leaks! And they cost less than $10 each at Costco.

I used 27gal boxes in Room "B"... I do believe they are overkill for two plants and so I am using 7 of the 15gal size (2 plants each) in Hydro Room "A". The recycling totes with lids from WalMart are working PERFECT for my reservoir system.

Question: Is there any drawback to just using the 3" net pots the plants veged in? I am using a SCROG so keeping them in place is no problem. I inserted my 3" pots into 6"pots in Room "B".... the roots did not fill out in the 6" pots so I see no reason to use them....

Well.... Back to cleaning out Room "A".... It sorta got used for storage during startup... Starting construction on the new RDWC system today.
