Legit Timewarp Seed Source?

I've been told that Texada Timewarp is a seriously great strain, but I've also heard that it's clone only. That's weird because it's supposed to be growing naturally outdoors in BC. I'm not sure what the real story is though.

I found this:

After reading the description, I'm wondering how much truth there is to what's written there. The fact that the seed price is in Euros doesn't help.

We used to get some indoor in TN called Timewarp. It was super sticky with a strong citrus smell, with a skunk funk to it as well. Super loud, and good smoke. Not sure if it was the same as the bc texada timewarp

Texada timewarp was one of 4 seeds found in some Mexican or California bird seed in the late 70's early 80's on texada island... she is super strong tall and goes black purple and has a stone that will rival any indoor when finished right... hates being indoor and will make big red hair bud with not much frost and a really strong citrus cleaner smell..

A few families preserved this cut on Texada island since but she has degraded a lot and I haven't seen the real clone only in a while even when I was up in Powell river just off texada island in 2018..

I know peak seeds has a seed line made off her and I think maybe Jordan of the islands might too but they would have to be crosses at some point probably bx'd to the mom...

I think I saw white buffalo seeds may have had a cut too ...but none look quite like the cut many grew commercially outdoors during prohibition..

Basically when they cracked down on the states growing in 82 or so a lot of folks worked together and planted huge fields of weed on the coast of British Columbia... between 82 and 92 tons literally of outdoor was grown and shipped all across the states and it was super good strong weed even by today's standard... the timewarp was the most widely recognized but others like egmont 3leaf, A3, A-frame, early helicopter, mighty mite, purple spike and C-level where also grown in mass on the gulf island and coast line until the US government sponsored a crazy helicopter flying campaign and all the serious commercial growers moved inside to huge warehouses and barns with all the $ the made in the heyday of huge field grows..

She is a legend and a queen of her day for good reason but I suspect time and the medical indoor market opening up put her in the shadows.. hopefully someone still has good cuts or seeds but all the ones I've seen since '10 or so look to short and indica...

That is a scam site. Branded much like all the others. Try to purchase, links you to AMS, same as every other bullshit site out there. Shame that anyone EVER falls for this.

Very cool post. There is so much cool shit that's happened/is happening off the BC coast. If only it didn't rain 400 days/year I'd look to cross the Rockies. ;)

Minor note: to my knowledge, Peak never offered Timewarp seeds, only F1's with a couple of his other IBLs, to the public. He may have sent some testers out I guess. He used to have a writeup on his site about the 'clone only' status of TT.

Yeah, in an email a while ago, MikeJ mentioned that he believes that TT is clone-only. I totally trust his opinion, but somehow after reading the writeup on that website, I couldn't help but to ask.

There's an interesting review of TT on the Wikileaf website that says the following:

"please update your inaccurate story.i am from texada and can help if need be.i have access to the real story as i am a direct descendant of the peoples were this strain originated from...thank you for your time and consideration."

A few other reviewers asked her to tell her story, but unfortunately she never returned.

Wow, that is a dead on description, red hair and super strong citrus smell. I have a small bag of TW bagseeds from around 2012. I wonder if anything comparable can be found in those

Now that Texada Timewarp is becoming hard to find, I want a legit source even more. I'm in Vancouver, boots on the ground. Bought a few packs of TW yesterday at my local seed shop (they didn't have much). It's not really legit TW but got what I could from Ancestral Seeds.
1) Timewarp Autoflower (never seen it before!)
2) August Timewarp (cross of TW, White Grizz, Pineberry, August Sativa)

Jordan of the Islands is out of stock, so is Vancouver Seed Bank. I called BCBud Depot and a very nice girl answered the phone. They DO have stock. Going to do a TW GROW-OFF this summer :leaf::leaf::leaf:
