Lemon Haze,Tangerine Dream,HeavyDutyFruity, indoor soil grow w/ advanced nutrients

After weeks of browsing every online seed bank I finally decided on a handful of strains.

Super lemon haze from greenhouse seeds is a strain that I've heard nothing but good things about (besides the 10-12 week flowering time). Figured a mostly sativa strain like SLH wood add some variety to my garden, as well as some tasty nugs to my smoke sack.

I chose Tangerine Dream from Barney's farm purely out of curiosity and a fascination with the g13 genetics in its bloodline.

Heavy Duty Fruity from TH Seeds is a strain that I noticed in one of the big book of buds years ago and made a mental note of because of its high yield and potency with a fast flowering time (8-9 weeks). I thought the HDF would be good to breed with so I ordered regular seeds of it hoping to get at least one male for future crosses.

Seeds were ordered from worldwidemarijuanaseeds on 1/6/12 and arrived on 1/21.

2x TH Seeds - Heavy Duty Fruity - Regular
2x Barney's Farm - Tangerine Dream - Feminized
1x Free - 2 Free Feminized Seeds
2x Green House - Super Lemon Haze - Feminized

For spending over 30 dingles I received 2 bonus feminized seeds from CH9 seeds, Humbolt and Jack.

So, 8 seeds, 5 strains, moist paper towel method, "buy the ticket, take the ride".

Seeds were placed in between squares of paper towels on small saucer plates. I kept each strain on a separate plate so there was no chance for mix ups. The paper towels were moistened with a spray bottle and the plates were placed in trays under a humidity dome and left in the dark at between 70-75 degrees. I gave them each a light spray in the morning and night, just enough to keep the paper towels moist.

In 48 hours 7 out of 8 seeds had germinated with nice healthy white roots emerging. The seeds were then transplanted into a mixture of peat moss and foxarm red and placed under some tube florescents in my clone box.

I'll have a couple pictures soon, but they have been in the dirt almost 2 full weeks and are looking good. The last seed which was a tangerine dream never germinated but 7 out of 8 isn't bad for my first try with seeds.

3 weeks after germination.

Fertilized weekly with Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow A and B, B-52, and thrive alive B1 red.

The Heavy Duty Fruity seem to be growing the best

The Super Lemon Haze's are growing well but Super Lemon Haze(A) is growing much slower than Super Lemon Haze(B)

The Tangerine Dream is off to a pretty slow start as well

And the Humbolt and Jack from CH9 are both doing well

I plan on FIMing the HDF's, SLH(B), Humbolt and Jack tonight

Very nice so far. I will be watching. Just be careful with those nutes and such young plants.
Good luck on your grows

56 Days After Germination ( Week 8 )

Super Lemon Haze - Definitely two very different phenotypes going on here.
SLH(a) has very little branching and grows at half the pace of all the other strains in my garden, leaves are a brighter green, still has no smell, and is showing no preflowers at the nodes.
SLH(b) has awesome branching, leaves are a dark green, HUGE internode spaces, smells citrusy/hazy, clones root quickly (one of the first clones i took from it rooted in 5 days), and is showing female preflowers at many of the nodes.

Tangerine Dream - Stinkiest girl in the garden. This baby smells stronger than alot of strains in full flower, its a pungent stinky smell that reminds me of G-13. Just started showing female preflowers.

Humboldt and Jack - Both good healthy growers, slightly skunky smell to them, clones root easily.

Heavy Duty Fruity - Both HDF(a) and HDF(b) turned out to be males. Used them to pollinate a plant from each of the 2 unknown strains I'm currently working with.

Thanks Fran I checked it out.
SLH(b) and Tangerine Dream both went into flower room about 3 days ago. Also put rooted jack and humboldt clones in to flower.
