Nice plants/thread,
I was thinking about LSTing or supercropping some Lemon skunk or Hawaiian snow to go low. Does/has anyone gone low with it before and if so how does it react? I've had outstanding results going natural (long n strong) but new digs forces new strategy. I would rather save the lines than to waste time experimenting.

OK I thought I'm the only one with this problem...
My plant was in 12/12 cycle for 20+ days before it showed the first sign of sex.
Now it's 42 days 12/12 and just starting to form colas..
Really weird seeds.. Mine are too GHS fem lemon skunks.. I think this company isn't good, heard loads of complains about them.

really mine are ghs and they were right on time...some factors could have delayed reaction depending the type of light used maybe they had a lack of nutes which could delay response time...my guess you might have tried to flower it too early(were there sex pistols formed before you changed the light cyle?) If not it will delay flowering time...but be patient with this stain people...the more patients you can have the better you have in the end.

Have two GHS Lemon Skunk in flowering atm. Both seem to be progressing fine. One is just over 2 weeks in 12/12 and the other is about a week. In both cases I saw preflowers before I placed into 12/12. Not sure if that could be the difference.

I also have a White Rhino that was really a slow starter. The nodes were so close together it looked like ground cover for the first few weeks of its life. It has now also taken off.

Like MileHigh says patience is the key. Glad I let the White Rhino go, it now looks like a great plant. Hopefully the same will happen with your lemon skunks.

My colas seem to keep stretching and not filling yet.. Happened to you bro? Or were the colas dense growing from beginning?
But they start to get some crystals going.. Hopefully now they will start filling in too. Ill get some photos up soon.
Well I am sure that the lemon skunk is much more a sativa then indica(on the GHS webpage they have it in the indica section).

I have two going and the other is prolly doing the same as yours is doing right now... it grew all the way into the light and is bending on the safety glass but i just let it go and now its starting to fill in nicely...what weeks yours in? And yeah the GHS puts it like that but in the video the explain that its back from an indian citral which as i have read is one of the original sativas...but the grow time has to be shortened by some sort of indica hybrid.

Hmm, my strain (Jordan) of Lemon Skunk was indica dominant, stayed low with close internodes, and very low odor in growth. As y'all noted, the lemon taste and smell is very strong, just wait till you hit it in a vaporizer:mrgreen:

Tastes great, but I'm a little disappointed in the high. Seems to be lacking something for me...dunno how to describe it. But that's just me. I've smoked out several people with it, and they all thought it was great. But it's not a keeper strain for me.

Max buds is right they will be wispy and or elongated untill the final id say three weeks of growth...and thats when it starts to just TAKE OFF filling out and just getting dense mines on the eighth week of growth i believe and its rock hard cola and unbelievable stickyness( do i need to mention the smell since you all seem to be growing this and seem to know its extent)

All and all i dont give a fuck what people have to say about this genetic...IT's Fantastic... id say only rivaled by maybe LSD(lemon sour deisel) in taste and potency... This is not a genetic if your looking to get a pound from the ground because its not engineered to grow outlandish amounts of weed...It's breed to be extremeley good tasting and resin packed... Not for the comercial grower. Now this is my third time growing this strain and out of all the others i have grown ( SuperSweetSunk, Swiss Miss, Aurora Indica, Sweet tooth, blueberry, Grape Ape, and last but not the least Super Lemon Haze) this one i have the most fun just knowing what its capable of.... dont get me wrong the Super lemon Haze was fun but HARD that girl was picky about everything and you really had to keep an eye on everything... with this one i just kinda let it be and do its thing and it does it quite well.

Now Feroce i don't know what (Jordan) means is that a type because you might have had a totally differet genetic... trust me these guys get to atlest six feet tall everytime so i wonder if maybe someone wanted to get that same type of high and taste but put it with an indi so they could get all of the good parts of the plant world...but might have left something out when it was crossed... that just seems to be a very reasonable explaination to why yours would be a different hieght and be missing something from your high.

It sounds to bubbleberry that your friend might have had a nute defficiency thats what tends to happen if you neglect one of the building blocks of life...they tend to get wispy...it happened to me on my first go around with this strain but on the second it was corrected by just letting her have all the nutes she wants( kinda like an indica where you can feed it up the ass and it'll just take it all in) I was a little worried it might be sensitive like the super lemon haze to nute burn but that must be a haze dominate trate cause i cant give them enough...
