lemons first grow

well guys here it is, this is my first grow although its 5 weeks into flower i thought better late than never.
you will see that at the biggining i made every possible mistake gowing but that didnt deter me. what im actually doing here is setting myself up for my second grow and hopefully not making the same old mistakes, anyway here goes

1 x 1 x 2 square stealth tent ( mylar )
450 wt sodium h buld
roastig tray ( yeah you heard right ) canopy
home made filter
140 c/f extractor
oscilating fan ( 9" )
min max thermostat
and thats it
these plants are about 3 weeks into veg

Looking nice man. You failed to mention the strain...

Glad to see you made a journal. The input I received from my journal definitely helped with my first grow.

Oh, and what nutrients/soil are you using?

yo thanks jerry for dropping in, and to answear your question they are supposed to be afgani#1 but thats a conversation for later on as you will soon see
i use a good organic soil 70/30 with vermiculite, added my own fish blood and bone,
im a bit of a gardner myself so my nutes are what i would use in the garden , ie chempac nitrogen which is 15.5.5 for veg and a mix of big bud, hammerhead and overdrive for flower,
heres some more pics , as you can see they are growing christmas tree style because i didnt know about lst and other forms before

thanks guys for poping in, im trying to rush this journal through, catch up on things and get ready for the second grow which thanks to the main man will be in a mammoth style.
as i said before these plants were suposed to be a pure afgani#1 indica but everywhere i look i see sativa ( thanks to gfk420 and mammoth for the conformation ) so it seems these babys will be taking abit longer to flower on me but to be honest i like a good sativa, so guys heres a few more pics for ya, and oh yeah you will notice
1, no even plant canopy
2, no idea what the rh is
3, 2 plants lst and 5 not, all growing happily together
4, water not ph,d
and believe me when i say it was hrd work making all these mistakes
lol

Please do not take this offensive, I just had a question about the bud pic above. (I'm adding your pic with zoomed spot so you can see where im asking about). Anyways are these pollen sacks? I do not mean anything offensive at all. But no one else has asked (so i may be just going nutz or those are some weird calyx's ) Just if it is sacks i would want someone to tell me they see em in a pic so i can get rid of them

yo man-beautiful tall plants.healthy as hell.and hey, looks like EpyxN has really quite the eye-one plant looks defenetly hermie-you should not throw it away, but carefully remove all the sacs, ALL of them, and then youl get still some decent bud 4 it.

fuck fuck fuck how the hell did you see that i inspect these babys every day and never noticed so now im gona have to go and have a good look for myself, if your right then thanxs man,

would have been irresponsible if i would have seen it and just wen't about my own business lol. Hope you were able to clip those sacks off if it was

well ive had a good ol look at the little lady and man epyxn you were right. only prob is that pic is over a week old, there doesnt seem to be any pollen in it i just hope it wasnt to late, she threw me a curve ball a couple of weeks ago found some sacks lower down the plant anout 3 or 4 pulled them off straight away and everything seemed fine, dam they will do anything to survive ( bitches ) as these plants are now into there sixth week i just hope its to late for pollination and when i found the sax they got a good spraying, lets just hope eh

Well with any luck she aint spluffed over every bud in the box and urll get a nice handfull of fem f1 beans to play around with. Damn shame u didnt catch it earier tho well spotted EpyxN. some of the sacks are like a halfarsed attempt at reproduction they grow but dont produce the goods. hope it works out for ya if not you've got beans for next time man!

i hope your right don, would be a bit dissapointed if i ended up with a load of seed ( totaly pissed off actually ) but i think ive been lucky this time
