Less = More

I've got an idea, and that is to grow fewer plants with a bigger yield. I intend to get 30-40 litre plastic box, melt some holes in the bottom and fill it with clay pebbles and just one plant. I'm setting this up as a personal thing. I'll probably use one 400w (alternate bulbs for different stages). Anyone used this method with a similar size bucket? I'd be interested to know your yield. Would it matter how long I veg'?

Thats def the way to go skunk the bigger the root structure the bigger the buds therefore the bigger th yield...i have plants in 25 litre buckets (about 7 gallons) wich were previously in 6 litres and i can´t tell u how much the girls grew in the 25L the buds are simply huge....

Oh btw i´ve seen a vid from Greenhouse seeds all their plants were in 85 litre containers in rockwool dude those mofos got an average of more then a pound per plant in yield....

That's what I'm talking about. 1/2 a kilo off one plant, now that's a plant. I wonder what the record yield is, the medium it was grown in and the size of the container.

really popogrow. How much light you using? Was this plant in prime position under good light? I'm asking this because the container seems small so you must have compensated with the light. Imagine lots of light in a massive container say 300 litres. I know somewhere where I can get hold of one, a 300l plastic container that is. I'm going to do this. What's the world record? Biggest yield and the dynamics used to grow the thing?
