Oh sweet, i got a 5 pack of chernobyl for free from gorilla seed bank, very interested. I heard Chernobyl grows tall and fast, at least that's what the description on their website says. Been thinking about popping it.

Chernobyl and Headband, seems to be a good meter,, i saw other guys using it on here,Very nice, what strains are you running? I got that same killawatt meter

the Chernobyl was way stronger and heartier than the headband, the headband was so linky lanky several times i had wished to pull it out and got get a second chernobyl,, but a few guys said to hang with the headband,, that it gets its legs and gets big,, now I am really glad i kept it,, @NapalmD is growing a headband plant ,, his grow inspired me to keep it also

How does chernobyl taste? does it grow really tall and fast? i might pop this 5 pack soon.

my first run with it,, it seems to be growing about as fast as my GG4 did last time,, if thats any help,, being a hybrid, right now they are both stretching at the same pace, one of the reasons i built this light on such a small frame is so i can wedge it up next to the exhaust fan if these to sativa doms run away with it,, 5 days in flower so far, the screen kept them low while they filled in

Yea i hear that , the stretchy ones can be a hassle but sometimes it can be worth it. I grew gg4 before so i know how you are talking it is pretty stretchy but fills in nicely. Hope it turns out nice for you , i hear there's some really good chernobyl phenotypes that taste like a lime slurpee.

Great stuff! This thread made me feel a lot more confident about wiring my own up, I haven't seen too many people on here mentioning fusing which was a concern of mine. Im paranoid AS hell that I'll wire something that will make fires!
What's your room size? Have you gone for the 20-30w per square foot mantra?
I was considering 500w for my 3x3 space but not sure if that's overkill (citizen 1212's Id that makes a difference)

Hey, nice to meet you, This has been a really fun grow, super easy with the sip, and the new light is really packing on the frost,
with the new cob holders and the wago's connetors wiring up these lights have never been easier,
my grow cab is just over 2 foot x 3 foot, ( rounded down),, but close,, I am at 41 watts per square foot this grow,
next grow i am going to ad in 2 of my cxa3070 cobs that are just laying around, and only flip them on during flower
that will bring the watts up to 350 and the watts per square foot will be 58,,
more and more i am seeing higher watts with the cobs, and the yeilds have been improving

Add a 15K ohm resistor in series with the pot.

Some one suggested a switch in the dimmer wire so it can be "open circuit" and full power achieved , i do have some laying around , probably since i am just re hashing parts laying around , i tested the 100k pot but i didn't photograph it and now i don't remember hahaha that's one of the problems with getting old
