Excuse the mess in my tank i was gone for a couple days and my roommate overfed the fish so after this post im cleaning it up lol. (I have two Jack Dempseys by the way, next semester im buying a 50 gallon)

I had some of my fish literally commit suicide by jumping out of the tank onto the floor. We had 8 of that species now we don't have any

Thanks, i used to have a 55 gallon in my room in high school but my mom divorced my step dad and i couldnt take the tank with me. It had a albino oscar, convict, jack dempsey and a parrot ciclid. That tank was the best.

BTW your setup looks awesome i want to do that eventually
