have you got yours?
ordered one too to test, but might build me a small device with some channels at some point.
the low side 5in dimmer ones didnt cut it, i may use it for a veg box driving some strips directly by a CV powersupply or i use it for some PC fans as enviroment fans, they normally work fine with n fet switching.

VPD charts are nice to go by but you need co2 to benefit from it. And remember its leaf temp not air temp. Ideally, if your plant is transpiring efficiently, leaf temp will be at or below ambient temp. Higher and the plant is stressed by the lights.

Also remember that co2 will close the stomata and reduce transpiration; when you run co2 youd need to redial in your vpd foe slightly higher transpiration

No Dimmers yet tracking says they are in Compton CA hopefully they will make it out safe. Bought two of them. Should be here by Friday. The Zigbee gateway is already here and one remote zigbee device working great.. Have quite a bit of zigbee stuff on the way 3 pack of temp and humidity, some door and window sensors, motions sensors.
Got all the Sonoff s31's flashed over to Tasmota today Thinking about adding 3 in my Light with the two dimmers replace all the crap i got on it now with those 5 smart devices. Should be fun! IMG_20230714_234947908_HDR.jpg

Sounds you will get yours way before me, have to wait 2 weeks.
they should be fine, only asking myself if they dim to off (no big deal if not either).

i see youre fully in to it, haha.
very nice box on top, overall looks like a very solid build ill bet you will enjoy your new toys.

Yeah I paid a few dollars more for the dimmers because they shipped from the USAor so they say . All the other listings would have got here in October and shipped from China. Pretty sure the ones I bought drop shipped from China they just charge a bit more and use Air Mail tracking says it was dropped off by international shipping partner in Compton.
With Meanwell,s HLG drivers the 240 and up will dim to off and 185,s and down won't dim to off. Unless they have changed things in the last 5 or so years. got my 185,s about 5 years ago and they for sure won't dim to off when I PWM them to 0 % . Not a big deal for me i just want the automation that says if the room gets to 88F to dim the lights 20 or 30 %.
Started out to just Automate the Grow room to Keep me in the VDP zone. Now the whole house is getting done. But it needs it added security , plant safety and efficiency. Even going to low tech automate the Blumat reservoir with a float value and line going to the RO System. That will free up some time to focus on stuff I usually slack on like foliar spraying and top dressing on time .

you really go mad, haha.
wasnt sure if they do 1-10 or really 0-10, we will see, for me its no big deal also.
was just keen to know.
good info, my hlg40 and hlg60 prob wont work anyway to 0 then.

This one here looks like it has a dip switch that will let you set it to a true 0 to 10 or 1 to 10 But it for sure is not on the front of the unit. Can also be wired to a switch.

Ended up getting 4 more s31's @ 6 dollars a pop. Checked them with a watt o meter and they all are within a watt of it. But nice to know they can be calibrated from the console. Still No update on the tracking of the zigbee dimmers in 5 days now, Hopefully they will still get here this week. I will for sure pop one open when they get here see if there is a switch.
Working on a duct design that I will be able to flip two panels 90 degrees and switch airflow then the top outtake turns into a intake and the bottom intake turn into the outtake. If proves to helpful i might just try and automate it into the system.

@JavaCo which tools you would need to achieve a optimal VPD is very dependent on the climate of the growroom youre growing in.
I do monitor my VPD and can achieve quite optimal results by using a dehumidifer most often, ymmv as beeing said above.

Nowadays i would only use electronic grow devices which i can integrate in homeassistant as its the most versataile solution without any restrictions or bindings to any manufactorer nor any chinese cloud involved, endless possibilities, and way more reliable then a china cloud solution.

The 69 pro, can be also integrated in to Homeassistant allready if i read right, while you can simply do all you want and more then the 69 pro can do with some simple rule sets in HA.
Handling VPD is very easy in HA, simply take a Zigbee or BLE Humidity / Temp sensor (10-20$) and youre ready to go, there is pretty much all hardware you can imagine avaiable for this ecosystem, its not pricey either.

Simplest to use in HA is the vpdchart.com provided card, very easy to use and teach you all you need to know in a short time.

kinda looks like this then,(this is at night).
Good luck.
what sensor are you using for the plant sensor. I use 3 aquara sensors in each tent at different heights, canopy, mid and soil. Buts its only temp, hum, and air pressure. No lux and conductivity. My aquara motion sensor has a lux sensor in it as well but its not reliable.

you likely mean the MiPlant Sensor.
its the first run i am using these, cant really say now how good the readings of the sensor are.
helps me watering the plants for sure so far.
the lux value is quite useless on these miplant sensors, placed under the canopy, just telling me if lights are on or off.

The Dimmers Showed up today No dip switch, They added right to Zigbee2MQTT and show up as this controller that I am guessing uses the same chip https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/devices/YSR-MINI-01_dimmer.html . 100% they put out 9.9 volts 50% 3.5volts and at 1% they put out 780 mV. There is no zero but there is a switch that gets added Flip the switch to off and it goes to 5mV. Hooked it up to one of my drivers for a test and it still wont dim to off on my drivers. But thats kinda what i figured , would have been nice to switch the drivers on and off with the dimmer also. These should turn off a dim to off driver though @ 5mv.

What money I saved on the fan got spent on the humidifier. Could have done quite a bit cheaper with a cold mist reptile humidifier and home assistant but decided to go with one that can put out cold or warm mist. So Winter time Warm mist will be used and in Summer when the AC running the Cold mist will be use. Went ahead and Automated the water supply to the Humidifier with supply line from the RO tank. Haven't decided what way to go for heat yet. Not even sure it will needed, in the 3rd week from flip with the light cranked up to 90% and the new Humidifier going the room has a nice stable VPD throughout the day. So might not even need heat at all the way it is going. Here is day 21 from flip pics. IMG_20231102_230247215_HDR.jpgIMG_20231102_230223388_HDR.jpgIMG_20231102_230229977_HDR.jpg

looking good, nice setup.
i havent tested my 0-10v dimmer yet... am sure it will do the trick.

just set my tent in to flower and thought i need a day counter which tells me how many days theyre in.
i prob make a extra thread for it if some one needs the code.
