Howdy guys, this is my first time posting on this site. I experiemented with the growing hobby a couple years back with a single plant that i kept outside during the summer. It was thriving until a hailstorm ripped my plant to shreds and dented the hell out of my car. That experience put me off of the cannabis maintainance for awhile. Now some years later I'm back at it again, except this time I'll be going for an indoors grow seeing as winter time is not the most suitable to grow marijuana. I've got a closet 4 1/2 feet by 4 1/2 feet at the base and about 8 feet tall. My main concern right now is the lighting which I am going to be using to grow. I'm only considering floro's at the moment due to their low cost and ease of use. At the moment I have single plant growing which is about 1 1/2 inches tall and several seeds in germination. The light setup I have at the moment are two 4 foot Philips tubes with the following specs: LIGHT OUTPUT - 1600 LUMENS, ENERGY USED - 40 WATTS, COLOR TEMPERATURE - 2700K. I'm thinking of buying different lights more in the 4000k range for better vegetative growth and saving my 2700k for flowering. Also, I'm going to be buying some CFL's and I dont know how many or what kinds I should get for 8 square feet of growing. What do you guys think about my situation and do you guys have any ideas to help me get a super efficient grow setup.
Eventually I'll get some pics on.
